I started this Channel in April 2022 with the purpose of focussing on the practicalities of living frugally and cheaply as a Senior Traveller whilst living abroad.
A professional photographer turned filmmaker - the aim is to make educational and entertaining videos with great visuals and music.
Now based in the Philippines where I was locked down in March 2020 when the world ended - I also travel to other countries, and have visited 50 countries so far, predominantly in Asia.

That's one of the things that always cracks me up. Chatting with Filipinas online who are already biased and love to judge. Especially the ones who have profile pics showing off their heavy cleavage and using filters. Still, I have to admire your determination. Illogical thinking and an immature attitude is something I don't need in my life. It doesn't matter how attractive they are. Enjoy your travels and look out for number one. Hello from Germany.

Yep it's a cold, soulless society where even in a crowd you can feel all alone. Even lots of Japanese people feel this way which is one of the causes for high suicide rate.

India seems like a nice place retire but its simply impossible. You can only get a 180 day tourist visa then you must leave for 60 days. .... unless you marry in ....
Keep in mind when at Siquijor Island, if your not in good health, you will have to take a ferry to Dumaguete for any and I mean any health issues including road rash from a scooter accident. They dont have the proper facilities
Many of the decent beaches in the Philippines have been sold, are privately owned. Unlike for example the beaches of India, Thailand or Vietnam where you can roam freely.

I think if you find one that’s actually got a job and not on the Internet all the time you might have a winner. I’m planning to come out there in a couple of years and find a good one hopefully. I’m 54 now.

Its amazing that after a certain time of the day at sunset... All the beaches look beautiful.. I think your only missing element would be the company of a soft hearted and lovely women to share it with... The cherry on the top.😊
