😮 I don’t know where this is taken, but in my very strong *opinion*, you’re clearly texting while driving down the road which is extremely dangerous on top of being on a motorcycle you’re adding to the likelihood you’re gonna have an accident, A turtle crossing the road and you didn’t see it because you were texting and your front wheel hits the turtle and what do you think happens after that? I see you wearing gloves. I hope you’re wearing a helmet. Ain’t worth it dude😢 be safe and think about others while you’re out on two wheels in *my opinion*. Blessings. 😇
You're certainly correct. Probably not the best decision I've made. It's north Florida with turtles, armadillos, and any other little vermin that runs out in front of us. I wasn't texting but just hitting the #4 to get the pager to stop paging me every 60 seconds. The gloves made it harder than it should have been. It's a very straight stretch of road, wide open so I could see quite a distance ahead, otherwise I wouldn't have tried it. Blessings!
Thank you. I'm definitely going to try that one and the Joe Budd area in the coming weeks...weather pending. I still have the stock Dunlop Trailmax Mixtour tires, and they're not great for anything more than dirt/gravel/light sand.
I have heard that this particular bunker was a part of a network of radar instillations along the west coast built to detect incoming Japanese aircraft, an invasion of the mainland being a concern during WW2 that thankfully never materialized.
