When I was waiting for the dentist in the waiting room : Altraeume !!! 🙀😹Dentist is fun before but no fun …& after
Still with 62 I'm sitting and wonder, what these guys have done with me. I saw them the first time 1980 as they where the opener for Styx (who the fuck is Styx?) Every single song is a journey in other spaces. They are all artists on their instruments and maybe the completes band I ever hear and saw. Greets from good, now times not so good old germany
This song makes me think of summers in T.O., ie. Toronto. There are animal zoos in this city, in High Park and on the Toronto Islands The most famous one is in the east end, in Scarborough, the Metro Toronto Zoo, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year; it officially opened in 1974. When I was a child, we'd visit the zoo and look at the many exotic animals., which include giraffes and orangutans.
In 1980, i moved in with 3 punk rockers from Toronto, eastern Canada. I'm a rocker from Calgary.AB Canada, western Canada. (big deal back in the day). They introduced me to different genres of music, (which i thought rock, was the only good music).Rattus Norvegicus, The Stranglers, they was one band they introduced me to. And this video comes up? Still listening. (Know every lyric to every Sex Pistols song, out there.)
I am old enough to remember when this first came out.. The Song? Brilliant Sonja Kristina? Luscious! Whoops! Sorry, but I thought so then and still do...53 years later! 😄
I heard Fred played on the 'FM Underground' when it came out ('69-'70) and was blown away. I bought the album the next day. So many great cuts. This and 'Rides Again' are a peak for Walsh, and Fox was the best drummer he ever had. 'Yer Album should be in every serious collection.
