At first I doubted the Imperial Army's ability to stand up to 8 million zombies and for most of the battle it seemed like they were losing too many to win. But their final assault on the remaining undead horde was brilliantly done.
The first rule should be, never deploy the defensein a way that would allow the attackers to flank them. Square, Triangle whatever, a straight line is a recipe for failure.
Fun battle. Those slow-moving spearmen are tougher than I thought, was surprised how easy they took out the knights. And the footmen lasted far longer & took a much greater toll than I thought they would; maybe the armored knights just aren't as tough as I thought they were.
