Hacker bosses are such a unique phenomenon to Dark Souls. And honestly, I would love a game where there was actually support for making these things. Maybe make community ranking for them, choices of arenas, and custom trophy items for people who want to make lore for their creations.
I'm imagining an animated sketch where Dome is Issacs hype man in this sequence, getting scared by it's spasm and just flabbergasted that Daina and Issac are just talking to each other SECONDS after that happened 😂
I wish in space marines 2 they would show Titus becoming a space marine and how arduous and painful the process is to become one that would be a nice touch

Massed fire from lazguns can penetrate just about any armor. Compared 21st century weapons, these things are like anti tank rifles. But in 40k, that's just not enough
People call this plot firepower. I deny such false lies. The Ork Waagh energy was at play here. The Orks thought those beamy guns could hurt them. And hurt them they did.
Lasguns can last anywhere from 1 shot to 300 shots. If they shoot on higher settings 20 a mag makes sense if the mag is up to spec. It is a bit weird that the Imperium doesn't standardize the lasgun tech more if they had 20 shots a mag, I'd assume each shot should instant kill an ork boy.
To be fair, it's not that lasguns are weak, it's that the enemies the IG have to contend with are so strong. It's more than lethal to humans and beings of similar constitution, and Orks are literally bio-engineered to keep on going even if huge chunks of them are blown off.
Logistically Lasguns are far better than slug throwers. But given they tech we have now, Slug throwers would be a Far better choice for penetration and stopping power.
a lasgun is just as powerful as an autogun in game though, the difference between a lasgun and a boltgun is less than the difference between a boltgun and a pulse rifle
But then it wouldn't be as epic. A big reason why running around naked in games is cool, is because it shows you don't need the armour. If anyone can "be" naked while having stats of heavy armour, it would lose its charm.
