30” in IA… it’s a joke that Dustin Avey of Ames is still credited as IA’s 400m hurdle king with a 50.96 on 30” back in 1996. Greg Offerman of Charles City ran 50.61 on 36” in 2005. Greg is the true 400m hurdles king of IA. 🐐
What is wrong with the camera man? He spends a lot of the time showing the runners in the back. Particularly at the end of the race! He never shows the lead runners finish the race! What is he assuming? Is he saying, "Well we know who is going to win, why show that." He doesn't show the winner, nor the 2nd and 3rd place. Camera man needs training. I could say more but I won't.
It looks like a decent number of fans were allowed to attend this track meet. All outdoor events should have at least 40% seating capacity now, and it would still be more social distancing than on Florida's beaches, at the Brooklyn Park, MN Daunte Wright protests, and all supermarkets.
