honestly why I liked godzilla 2014 so much. felt like they had a lot of handheld shots of the soldiers who dropped in. sad they moved away from that in the later movies
If you wanted a more realistic appearance making the camera feel like it’s being held with one and and go up and down like the movement of running would’ve worked.
He looks absolutely terrifying in grainy 8mm coming up over that hill and all you can see is this black mass and glowing eyes. No features. Suddenly I am able to see past my lifelong adoration of Godzilla and almost imagine what it would be like to see him coming like this without the familiarity. And the hair on the back of my neck stands up.
Here's where the naming of that bit of geography is dead wrong: the beings that dwell in Hell will try to make a *deal* with you, the *ultimate* raw deal at that- for you specifically, they won't *eat* you, they'll make you the *raw* deal you won't refuse; these animals will merely try to dine on you: completely different kind of beings altogether.
Addendum: no, I misidentified the animal: it is an allosaurus most likely; the shape of the head, and the time-period... yet your anatomy of the animals here is very good quality work.
