I upload videos trucking related, POV driving, cars, boats .... mechanical stuff.... Mostly I record with my GoPro and sometime my iPhone. I hope you enjoy watching.
I was watching this for the coolant reservoir and turns out the little nugget of gold was the wire on the turbo hose. Mine is a 19 with 35k miles on it but the wire had rubbed the hose enough that the rubber had come off and some of the wire mesh was starting to show. Now I know if I have turbo issues what the problem will be. Great video. Thanks.
If you don't mind saying it .what was the weight on that load .I am looking to get the same set up .but no one wants to tell me if the 5500 is to much of a gas eater
Probably around or little more than 20k lbs, The only differences I know of with the 5500 is bigger brakes, wider stance, Standard Aisin trans, and more towing & carrying capacity other than that it's similar to 3500.
Hey brother can you please tell me any specific reason to go back to factory wheels?? instead of 22.5 alcoas they looked 🔥 i got that same setup after looking at your's now dont like anything else on my truck
Putting the nut side of the bolts pointing inward will cause the hinge to not close flush. Bolt heads on the inside cause the same problem. Whatever is used needs to be flush with the hinge or at least no deeper than the original connectors if they protruded at all. Alternatively, alter the hinge &/or latch to accommodate the new spacing.
