In Tribes 2 players got pissed off when I called them Routers. Now in Tribes 3 we have youtube videos of the promotion of routing. This is so funny because it is the very reason Tribes keeps falling into the pit of failure.
I realized now after the fact that I've actually seen @Jiick (www.youtube.com/@Jiick) do something very similar before on the sneaky back left @ 08:05 that's visible late and is decently hidden by the tree on approach. So I might have had that in mind. Also, go subscribe to his channel. And I didn’t realize I chose a clip of one of the slower executions of that route but it’s still good nonetheless. Can hit that better.
No worries. I prefer people hearing when I use the jet for small changes and such without having to stare at the energy meter. Playing lots of music when I explore maps and play normally though.
I do, just not when recording. Until we know if it’s here to stay or not I rather just upload ones that will be viable even if they take away the free disc jump. It’s a good tip though!
@@thedarkbanshee When you spawn you have like 1 second of invincibility so if you do it right you can disc jump right when you spawn and not take damage
Would've absolutely loved that. In my book it's the best invention in all of the T games so far. Fun to use, lots of utility and looks cool. And the grabs that seem the most broken with it like the big fromunda ones I did in this vid are stopped by a single HoF standing still on flag, unless the capper at 275+ gets the perfect angle from the spot they blink to in a millisecond to pull off some perfect toe grab. Hopefully HoF gets bigger body-block potential going forward and reached toned down a couple % as well. Grappling-hook is up there too, but I didn't play much T:V, it's the one I skipped.
I knew things felt different compared to the 'demo'. Demo felt great to me too, although I have adjusted things to suit this latest test, guess I will adjust again in the next one too ;-) Damn good work and I know this took a long time to sync both routes and vids. You are very consistent, cheers!
