BooKoo (“beau coup” a French word meaning many or a lot of, also a term used hugely in New Orleans) Adventures is a fun and random channel started by two New Orleans Natives living in Los Angeles letting the good times roll or as we say in New Orleans “laissez le bon temps rouler”!!!
I still have an authentic black with red pin stripe Michael Jordan Champion brand jersey from the 95/96 season, even though he retired then moved on to the Wizards.
Keep a jersey like that in the closet for a few years and then bring it back as a throwback or vintage piece. It feels weird while they’re still in the league but once they’re done, it’s usually a fun piece.
I only buy throwback jerseys unless my fav player(s) wins a chip. Still have Santana Moss (Jets) Roy Williams (Cowboys), Champ Bailey (Broncos), D. Culpepper (Vikings), R. Moss (Raiders) to name a few.
The last jersey I bought was a Houston Texans swearinger jersey. I am a huge Texans fan and was a fan of his at S.C. After that. I now buy custom team jerseys with my last name on them. It's a buy at your own risk if you ask me
As a Raider fan…all but one of my jerseys is irrelevant. I still hang on to them because I liked the player enough and what they did for the team to rep their name and number. They may just sit in the closet but it’s a great way for me to remember their shining moments
My brother inlaw bought a Minshew jersey last year and i was like you know he ain't gonna be there next year. He said i dont care , i just like him. I cant know!
I find great joy in thrifting irrelevant player jerseys. My collection is nearing triple digits. If anyone feels some type of way about a jersey, rest easy knowing it will have a good home with me.
Why not you paid for it? It becomes about supporting the team not the player. I'm a Vikings fan. Haha don't need to hear the criticism about that. The funny part is for me I have several jerseys that are Vikings jerseys of players that are no longer with the Vikings and some haven't been for a while. The funny part is every time I buy a new jersey that guy goes somewhere else or retires. This is happened four or five times. Can't even trust the rookies anymore because I wanted to buy a Dobbs Jersey last year and of course he is no longer with the Vikings in place for the San Francisco 49ers so glad I didn't do that one. Nobody here in Minnesota like some after what happened last year. But I have Randy Moss, Adrian peterson, Jared allen, and Brett favre. I've honestly gotten rid of other jerseys from past players because they are no longer here. But for me it's just saying that it's a waste of money. Maybe at a new guy with that number becomes a great player. Have the name tag changed on the back shoulder. Or leave it as is
I wonder what happened to Michael Thomas. He was such an exciting player to watch.Seems like he was just getting started and then he's gone. I guess the nfl really does stand for not for long
I honestly think Nike has missed the opportunity of making sneakers art pieces not to be worn but admired on display.. it so much Nike can do with their silhouettes and people would buy them like a Thanos Gauntlet Glove. One example is turning air max bubbles into mobiles or scenes inside the air-bubble.. so much creative real estate gone to waste!
