This show is terrible and now I really understand why Drake code switches bc you all sound like a bunch of goofy ass Canadians who spent an extended holiday in Jamaica. MAKE IT STOP.
So let me get this straight, M Dot R feels disrespected as the Marleys and Wailers did not invite them to the opening... Does he even know his own lane or does he think the whole roads his?? Just because you know the lyrics to a Capleton or Sizzla track it does not mean you can claim to represent righteous sect of Reggae... Righteousness does not invite slackness. Big up Fams Jr , Davo and Jr Marvin...
Black people can't be racist. Racism is an anti-black social hierarchy that benefits white people. Where white people are put themselves at the top and they put black people at the bottom. In order for black people to be racist we have to create laws and propaganda that will make people shift their minds to believing that being closer to black is positive and being closer to white is negative.
nope. not... at... all... black women are actively seeking out the thugs, players & bad boys & pushing the good, educated black men away. calling them "corny" & such. can't get my passport soon enough lol smh
some of the most racist shite I have ever seen in my first year in America happened between a b & w in Philadelphia and I know clearly who instigated it, and it will not go from my head ever!
racism itself ISNT a systemic structure. but systemic racism is a FORM of racism. you can be racist without it but its most likely more damaging(on a macro level) with it. but on a micro level( person to person) with or without the systematic structure it will hurt someone the same because everyone in daily life has some form of power that can inconvenience someone else. they just don't have enough power to affect things on a macro/systematic level.
Racism is a systemic structure. It was literally made to put white people above everyone specifically black people. They used it to justify slavery, then Jim Crow, Black Codes and so many other oppressive ways to keep black people "beneath" them. Name one thing that black people as a whole did to white people to oppress or hurt them?
