The guest speaker forgot to count Brahmos and Spyder Missile System on the Philippines that was already online (active) and just focused only on TYPON. Also, take note that the Philippine Military is battle tested. Even you have a thousand missiles but your soldiers are just "green"(no experience) it will affect the effectivity in large sum resulting to casualties to the aggressor.
The Philippines needs both the Typhon Missile system and more batteries of the current and enhanced long range Brahmos missile systems. That would a true game changer in the South East Asia, and it’s all China’s fault for this happening.
Refrain from buying Chynese 😅products specially on such apps like AliExpress, Temu, Alibaba, JD, PDD holdings, Lazada, and many other affiliated chynese apps 😅😖😠
Liou To-hai, is a new voice on TaiwanTalks. He has an odd tone of pushing suspicion of American influence as being a retro Cold War type initiatives…just to sell more American products. I do not trust him. Currently collaboration of drone and high tech capacities between NATO based developers and Taiwan based developers benefits both. The USA has been a proponent of native Taiwan weapons development. If anything the slowdown of weapons transfers from the US has emphasized the importance of native Taiwan based programs. Murikami seems to have a more reflective affect.
Article nine is just language that can be bent. Japan needs to work with Taiwan, S.Korea, the Philippines to develop a nuclear umbrella capacity to build deterrence. All of these nations rely too much on the USA’s nuclear deterrence. Trump would trade any of these small nations for a golf course hotel deal in Hainan. The second island chain is where the USA, Australia, France and India should elevate their game. The CCP is a shared enemy.
Im sure the World knew neighbors bordering China are having problem with China. Now Chinas adventure towards the sea to further claim territories felt they’re entitled 🙄.
The missile systems in the Philippines should stay there as long as China continues its Coast Guard and other forms of presence in the South China Sea. Contrary to what China demands of the Philippines to remove those missiles, the Philippines and its allies should further upgrade and beef up the missile capabilities of the Philippines from its present capacity until it reaches a formidable strategic military deterrence against China's aggressive ambitions in the Indo-Pacific region.
Taiwan needs more missiles and better security clearances especially in the legislature where there are many pro-CCP assets. Taiwan should keep their assets hidden, and must know that without nuclear weapons, they are screwed. Interestingly in the 1970’s they participated in the the S. African and Israeli weapons research program.
Taiwan should put disincentives to protect their seas outside of sea lanes. Perhaps drone/mines that shift patterns by activating small propulsion with simple guidance systems. Boats with transmitters on the right frequency can pass through, unauthorized boats would activate the ordinance. Swarms of small sea drones would be more effective than mines and still low cost. Use their advanced tech knowledge to get systems going.
Dont worry the world is watching china's aggressiveness to west Philippine sea and japan west sea , many countries willing to fight for japan . Like Philippines
Seriously? What kind of analyst believes the Philippines missiles are closer to Beijing than the ones in Korea and Japan? China is just mad because investments to counter the US in other locations will need to be reinvested to cover the Philippines scenario.. which brings them back to Asia instead of advancing nearer to the US.
It’s a game changer the fact that it has a long range and nuclear capable. Taiwans Harpoon is not a game changer because of its short range. Tomahawk has a range of 1500 miles or 2500 km. That’s enough range to put a dent in Beijing.
Well, maybe now the Malaysians will finally pull their head out of the sand and realize what is happening. ALL of ASEAN is a target of the middle kingdom… it’s just a matter of where are you on the line of dominoes..
I have no sympathy for Malaysia. Instead of showing solidarity with fellow ASEAN countries Philippines and Vietnam on the South China Sea issue, the Prime Minister instead castigated fellow ASEANS. They acquiesced to China because they see big $ signs. Malaysia, you are shameless because of just money, no principles at all.
The disavantage of getting hit by missiles while on the ocean. Drowning and bleeding and no instant rescue and the sharks...must be a terrible experience. Ships are really vulnerable regardless how many they are . Land to sea have advantages and as well as air to sea. Those ships near the EEZ are really good target practice. Those artificial island won't really stand a chance is a war scenario...they can get easily cutoff. Just adding 20 of this missile system all over the island and can fire 6 to 8 at a time is just amazing. Just imagine F22 raptors, himars, typhon, subs, mantas, drones ,AI and other assets from other allies.... this war will be actually high tech.
The Philippines now Sell its some thousand of Tones of Gold to Prepared its economic and its Defenses for Invaders so thats why China shouldn't be Complacent just ,China must try to look back the Philippines war history
