The newer balls fall slower because there not worn out or used after they have been used for awhile they drop becomes more consistent and if it’s cold in the arcade the balls fall faster and bounce less because there a little smaller if it’s hotter they expand a little resulting it batter chances for a higher bounce I’m pretty sure
ArcadeTime sorry dude i forgot to reply to you im not really sure about the hotter and colder possibilities your talking about but overall from 2011 till jan 2017 benchmark games were selling balls that are bouncy and fall slower than the new ones. by jan 2017 the new balls have been falling in the same timing almost and the bounces aren't as high as the old ones but thats what we have and we must accept it
