But yeah as ur man says there, “brilliant” because it is, that spot of the lower bann is absolutely beautiful and class place for course anglers. Excellent sport, place to go wind down a little.
I take ur allowed to pike fish here aye?.??? As a game fisher, sea angler myself mostly. In coarse fishing the only thing I fish for is pike and as I don’t do pole fishing or like it but appreciate it and understand why people do it but it’s not for me, the big pike for me on deadbait sometimes lures all day long over the poles!
I Love ireland fishing Love from Pakistan how can i come to ireland for Rod fishing i Love irish and ireland some one can invite sponsor me for trip to ireland....
I remember an Ireland where you could easily get 200llb bags of Bream. Farmers pesticides have decimated fish stocks. Many areas of their rivers are now devoid of fish. Last trip was in 2010 and i vowed never to bother going again. Such a waste of a natural resource.
Just reading what you said I agree with what you said but lets be honest the Inland fisheries don't give a toss about the coarse fishing , it' Salmon & Trout ,the rest can go do 1.
@@robertmedzai8163 It's a real shame. Fishing in Ireland during the 70' and 80's was phenomenal. Massive shoals of Bream,Hybrids,Rudd and Roach were everywhere. Big Pike,Perch and specimen Tench were commonplace. There was nowhere else like it. Many thousands of Anglers visited Ireland year on year. Ireland then joined the EU, and within ten years, it was all gone. Pollution from development poisoned the waters and the Fish died. Last visit for me was in 2010. Fished for a whole week on the Ern system, and caught less than 50lb of Fish for the whole week. Many days we blanked. Night fishing only produced small Eels. We were shocked by the amount of fences that had been erected, which made access to the Rivers difficult. Empty unkept fields that were once worthless, suddenly had value. Got told to leave by one angry farmer and my van was broken into. Never been back.
