You can see Chase Utley sweating he was so upset. John kruk was always doing dumb s*** like that. Chase actually believe that that's so dumb. The 93 team was my all-time favorite Phillies team Even with the start of the 2024 season doing as good as they are the 93 team was my favorite by far
Oh gosh, John Kruk seemed like one of those fellas that I’d like to have a beer with. Life can be hard, but it’s even harder if you take it too seriously. ;)
The company i work for is actively trying to hire John Kruk to make an appearance at our annual motivational event as “Matt Foley”. If anyone can help us with this it would be truly unforgettable.
YT surprisingly recommended this video to me, and for once I am glad they actually showed me something I wanted to see. Hadn’t seen this clip in quite a while, and it brought a smile to my face that was just as big as when I saw it for the first time. Love John Kruk. I was a little leaguer in the mid 80’s, and even though I threw right handed, I batted lefty. I used to try to mimic his batting stance when my buddies and I were horsing around on the diamond.
john kruk is such a piece of shit. One of the cowards and most hated player in mlb history. He's basically the antonio brown and draymond green of baseball. Its his fault they lost in 93
Always enjoyed watching John Kruk play. This is like the third or fourth time I've watched this since it was posted to RU-vid and it's funnier each time I watch it.
Dear Chase, I feel like I can call you Chase because you and me are so alike. I'd like to meet you one day, it would be great to have a catch. I know I can't throw as fast as you but I think you'd be impressed with my speed. I love your hair, you run fast. Did you have a good relationship with your father? Me neither. These are all things we can talk about and more. I know you have no been getting my letters because I know you would write back if you did. I hope you write back this time, and we can become good friends. I am sure our relationship would be a real home run!🏟️⚾️
The Charlotte Bobcats made a huge mistake by not taking Antoine Walker, Jerry Stackhouse, Eddie Jones, Chucky Atkins and Ruben Patterson in the expansion draft Walkwe could have been the primary scoring option on that team. They woukd have ended up with the 4th overall pick in the draft and been spared from taking Emeka Okafor, instead they end up with Devin Harris, Shaun Livingston, Josh Childress or Luol Deng. They are probably a playoff team in year 1 in the weak east, which saves them from draft blunder after draft blunder at the top of the lottery in 2005-2008 They could have and should have taken some young guys in the expansion draft as well such as Jason Kapono, Matt Barnes, Dahntay Jones, Zaza Pachulia and Gerald Wallace It was such a missed opportunity.
Antonie Walker was a declining veteran who nobody wanted his contract. Jerry Stackhouse was really declining following the injury who nobody wanted his contract, Eddie Jones was getting older and declining with a big contract. Atkins and Patterson were decent role players/starters Okafor won Rookie of the year made the biggest impact that season out of everyone you just mentioned (And I don't know why Livingston and Childress were among the names suggested they should've taken?) The East was not weak in 2004-05 and no chance they could've been an expansion team And every single one of those guys you just mentioned. They had not developed into the players they would once become. Like Gerald Wallace at the time was just known as an average backup small forward who could make cool dunks
@@JWex-jy7sk Antoine Walker was 27 year old, and was coming off a 20/9 season. What are you talking about? He absolutely was not a declining veteran, he had good years left Same with Jerry Stackhouse, he was 29 and played until 2013, his time with Dallas from 2004-2009 were some of the best years of his career Youre literally wrong about everything I mentioned Livingston and Childress because they are better picks than Okafor, he was a historically bad pick Literally everything you said is wrong Antoine Walker put up 19 points, 9 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 2004-2005 and 12 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists in 2005-2006 Jerry Stackhouse put up 15 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists in 2004-2005 and he put up 13 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists in 2005-2006 Eddie Jones put up 13 points, 5 rebounds 3 assists in 2004-2005 and he put up 12 points, 4 rebounds, 2.5 assists in 2005-2006
@@EricTheActor805 I’m gonna assume this is all sarcasm because Walker did that on a 13-69 Hawks team Stackhouse best years of his career were in Detroit And you said things like Josh Childress was a better pick than Emeka Okafor. Like that one didn’t even make any sense? Okafor averaged a double/double the first 5 years of his career
@@EricTheActor805 Plus realize where the Bobcats were financially at the time. There’s a reason expansion teams never take on any big money contracts. You start at the bottom of the barrel in revenue before the season starts because you haven’t made anything yet
@@JWex-jy7sk Walker played half the seasons on the Hawks and half on the Celtics but he averaged 20/9 for the last 5 straight seasons going back to 2000 The Bobcats went 18-64 and Okafor only put up 15ppg on a team that had nobody, he got every offensive touch. Chucky Atkins , Eddie Jones, Jerry Stackhouse, Ruben Patterson and Antoine Walker give the Bobcats enough in 2004 to win 40+ games and an 8 seed, but you think they were better off doing exactly what they did, a decade of failure
I love John KRUK. I am a 64 year old man I walked to Connie Mack stadium when I was a Rugrat with my dad. So I have been a Phillies fan forever and John kruk loves Philadelphia he still lives here and we love him as much as he loves us. A great human being.
