it's not about understanding, it's about experiencing. simply just open your ears and feel what the sounds are doing, and if it's too much for you, then move onto another artist to better suit your tastes. I do suggest giving it a chance though
@@chiseledquartz1075 You are totally right. I have changed my mind about this. I saw some tutorials on making house music and realized that it's actually not that hard so Road's could easily make something more traditional. So even though I can't fully understand what he's doing, I think I am a lot more open to its possibilities. Like he said in one of his videos it's about challenging yourself aesthetically. But honestly, I still can't come to like his music. Maybe later though.
@@TheDavddd that's very fair and I'm glad you looked into him more, and to be honest, it took me 2-3 years of music university and sitting through contemporary music like this to finally come around to hearing it for what it is, rather than subconsciously comparing it to all the other music I'm familiar with. And there's even some other types of contemporary music that I still just can't stand to this day 😜
