Ok so I’m in the hospital currently and found this video. So I’m taking a shower later and going to do this on my curly hair. I’m so glad this is an option. Thank you for this information. And yes I agree on the other oils she discussed too
I used to be prone to dandruff. This is what stopped it. 1-if you're using oils on your scalp, stop it. This is clogging your pores and creating more dandruff. It may feel better temporarily, but it will get worse. It's just a bandaid on the womb. 2- Every time your hair starts to itch, wash your hair. I know it can be annoying having to go through a wash day multiple times I week, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I used to wash my hair at 10pm after work, and still had to wake up early for work the next day. The excessive itching is your body speaking to you. Listen to it. It's telling you it wants to be washed, so wash your hair. I started to do this simply because I was extremely tired of the itching and it only felt better when I washed my hair. After doing this for about 3-4 weeks, the itching stopped. This was after struggling with itching for 2 years. 3-Use clarifying dandruff shampoos.
I just combed out my locs (well it didn't fully loc up. I changed my mind about 2 months in) and my hair is so dry and brittle. I randomly decided to use my nivea lotion. It's the Nivea oil infused lotion with cherry blossom and jojoba oil. it's in the light blue bottle with the dark blue pump. GIRL when I tell you, my hair feels so SOFT. This is before detangling or washing my hair, yet the brush is gliding through my hair. I think it'll take me no more than 1 hour to fully detangle my hair. Without this, it would easily taken me 5 hours to finish.
This was the idea I had, but seeing you execute it made me think, "Yes, now that is perfect." I really like it. It looks natural, unlike other wigs. In the past, when I cosplayed, I went through a ton of wigs. The problem with the three I bought was that the cap never conformed to my head properly, making the hair too loose. I have very fine hair, so when I put on a wig cap, it slides off. Plus, the wigs I bought didn’t look natural at the top where the center is. So, seeing this one, I was really pleased.
You’re so amazing , thank you for thanking Dyson and keeping it professional as well as letting us know it was a gift. Lastly, thank you for trying this out on type 4 hair , for now I know my next purchasing decision . 🫶🏼
