Been around all deere equipment but i got to say tigercat has them beat they are easy to drive and a whole dam lot easier to work on than deere equipment and alot more power
Versus what? I have seen good demos of it on YT and am considering buying it for my machine since I have applications needing better penetration and mill scale tolerance than my preferred existing ER70S6.
My boss makes us run 052 hardwire at 415 wire speed and 30 amps because its faster no exceptions....even if we have to take 10 to 15mins to use a crane to flip what we are working on to be able to weld it in the flat position 🙄
That Slag peel was nuts when I haven't used self shield wire in a while but I remember the slag looking similar to 6010 with it being powdery and hard to clear without a wire wheel, but who knows maybe I was just a crappy welder with both
You trying to learn how to weld by watching youtube videos? Not gonna happen with this stuff if you've never run innershield. The only way to learn it is to burn it.
That hot start options would really help me out this morning. In school currently doing a welding course and I have to redo a vertical uphill 3F 1/4 inch alu exam tee joint. Testing the penetration on a single bead pass. Ugh wish me luck 🍀
Came here for the info, stuck around hoping you're a union company. Smart stuff either way. Tho I'd have added that your pendulum testing platform is standardized to "the highest scientific standard" assuming that it is the basic scientific standard and you're not cheating the system by making and operating a pendulum machine that leads to false conclusions of your own material jointings. That'd be weird. Lol.
I have a tire shop here in Atlanta. I do bent rim repair and would like to start welding cracks in cast aluminum wheels. I would prefer MIG. Something that runs on 120 but I don't think that's strong enough for thick cast aluminum (spoke side ot the wheel). Can a MIG welder handle the task? If so what do you recommend on a budget for a beginner?
