Heth and jed were playing in herald sq station by F train. After work as I was about to go down for the train I just stopped. As a matter of fact they were performing maker. The amazing guitar part that starts around 4:46. The most beautiful sound of music. I actually became good friends with these guys. Bought all their cds and used to go watch them perform at diff stations. Heth and Jed....u guys simply ROCKKK!!!!
These guys are awesome. I first saw H&J years ago when I worked in midtown. I remember the day vividly, had a horrible day at work, saw them in Penn and it was so uplifting. It wasn't until I did some photography of them just a few months ago and sent them some emails that I really connected with them, now call them friends.
We saw these guys at Staten Island in the terminal whilst on holiday in New York. "Future Memories" is a fantastic song and we just wish these guys could get a break. We both feel that they would be a bug hit here in the UK.
I know, it's kinda crazy. There were about ten people standing behind me that day, hangin' out for a few seconds only. This was my first footage of Heth and Jed. Check out for more tunes in my video collection.
Thanks so much for putting up this recording, guys. It was the first one my wife and I heard you play several years ago on a beautiful day up on 5th ave by the park. A photograph couldn't fix the day more perfectly in my memory. -=Cliff>
I know at one point Chris was shooting to have the CD ready for the start of his Fall Tour that begins September 5th at the Tupelo Music Hall, but that was a while back and I don't know if he's still on pace for that. His most recent mention of it on Facebook just said Fall 2008.
Keepin' it real, Chris! Wish I could see him tonight in L.A. I'm telling my friends there to go. Never heard Happy Where I Am B4. Not surpringly, it's another Chris Trapper classic. Love Millionaire, & I'm always amazed by Away We Go - reminds me of Sam Cooke's style. I do not say such a thing lightly, & it's meant as a huge compliment! Then I discover that Chris idolizes Sam Cooke! Way Cool!! I was right on the money... Cool how the sound of Sam Cooke / U Send Me found its way in naturally.
