Respected Madam, sitting in a room will not help the issues and problems faced by the tribals....i am based in a tribal area in MP district burhanpur and tehsil Khaknar, a scheduled tribal area and since 2002 lands of tribals have been bought with consent and forcibly, Schedule 5th is a Joke which has never been implemented in the tribal areas......Sand Mining, stone Quarrys have been opened on the land meant for grazing and all the authorities hand in hand have worked towards dispossesing tribals of their land. To correct myself, that was just a bad edit. But it was a very suspicious one. The gentleman from Berkeley was right in many points but also wrong in some. I'll have to watch the discussion again and comment from my computer to make it coherent. Mr. Sardesai is right on Mr. Modi's vulnerabilities. But it needs a grassroots politician who is presumably building his own story now for him to manifest himself in 2/3 years. The point at 1:11:00 is absolutely right. Excellent discussion. the problem is when you donot speak the language of the masses then they will not listen to you. had it not been better to have this disucssion in hindi. we are alienating a huge portion of the population. we might have the right idealogy but it is of no use if their is no mass connect. you might as well sit home and discuss this amond friends. liberals have no mass connect.
