This did nothing for me. Unless you're supposed to do it regularly and wait to see results, idk. If that's the case, then how long before seeing results? I wonder if you can get bruised from this.

Optimal range for ferritin is 100-130. Doctors will tell you anything above 10 is okay, but they are dead wrong and don't know what they're talking about about. You will never know how good you SHOULD be feeling until you get into the optimal range.
The inside of my eyelids are white, dark circles under eyes, dull skin tone, rashes on face that I never had before, slow wound healing. Those are just skin related symptoms that I have.

Beef liver capsules have saved me and reversed my anemia. Low iron actually can cause heavy bleeds, I couldn't take any iron supplements because of the upset stomachs., so thank goodness I found beef liver capsules, Heavy periods are often low progesterone, thats why they put teens who have heavy bleeds on the pill, and why older women use progesterone cream.
I been struggling with anemia for Decades I’ve always had heavy periods, now I’m almost completely bald from severe hairloss ,my nails are brittle,I never have any energy. I can’t take iron pills because they make me constipated and the foods I eat doesn’t work
Please do your research. You can Google and see in a couple of minutes from published peer-reviewed research papers that beats have very little iron in them
If I knew 23andme took 3 months to cansle my test and then send a new in 2 days. Funny it takes two months to ship the test from Scandinavia to Holland and when it araves in Holand it would be safe. 3 weeks later it disapeard between Holland and the US. And it was 23andme who was to blame. So now before I get the result I have to spend ½ a year if they don't loos it atain ot it will not pass QC. Then it will be one year. DON'T EVER BY A 23andme TEST
I’m in the same boat except for they found in my ultrasound that I have tow small polyps that they recommend removing.. I don’t want to go through this process at all… I want answers and I too struggle with taking medication that I don’t know exactly how I am going to react to it.. it’s all so frustrating. They first said I had pcos and now they said I don’t 🤦♀️ my iron is low and after covid I started shedding a lot of my hair and I am just so overwhelmed by all of this.
I realise this is 6yrs ago but I have had issues with heavy bleeding during periods and anemia over the last few years. The acid she mentions in the video is probably tranexamic acid which has a high safety profile (it’s even given to children) and doesn’t actually clot the blood, but it works to slow down the breakdown of clots which then reduces the heavy bleeding. It’s only taken during your period for a few days and for me it’s been amazing, like turning off the tap as it were. Also look into histamine overload and too much estrogen (common during puberty and perimenopause to have surges of estrogen )which can also exacerbate heavy periods.

Ferritin fluctuates throughout the day. You can be a 20 in the morning say and a 6 in the evening. People don’t know this, just do a google to see. Wild fluctuations don’t happen though so if you test 100 you know you’ve got plenty of iron.
I understand what your saying I am very frustrated with my situation I am going for a blood transfusion tomorrow yes you feel like your getting the run around putting a band aid on a solution that's not going to stop my mom claims it's going to make me feel so much better I will try it's terrible
Cocoa powder. No sugar, just plain cocoa powder in a mug 2-3 tsp's. It tastes terrible, but it is real medicine!! It also has iron. The less processed cocoa is, the more beneficial. Just get the powder! No milk,no anything. Warm water, not too hot, stir and drink! Fresh squeezed lemons in water, a tall glass, heals your liver and kidneys, cholesteral, inflamation, kills infection, urinary track, lots of diff vits and minerals, turns alkaline when enters the body.
