I’ve see lower ball joints on truck cause this kind of wear. I’ve also had out of balance tires wear similar to this but the patches are usually 2 or 3 times further apart than this. Curious what you found out.

Looks nice and this is not meant to be a flame but why did you go so small with the intake tubing? Running boost you should have made that much much larger, there's room. Still great room and best of luck.
@@z31online go as large as you can can you do 4", if so, do it. You will probably see a drop in boost but at the end of the day you will provide better/more cfm to the engine. Make a large plenum to the feed the velocity stacks.
Gotcha! Thanks for the info on this! I'll helpfully get to it this winter as my winter project. In my mind, the intercooler piping and the paint job are the 2 things left that I would love to fix. Oh, and maybe frame rails caps as mine are pretty much mangled up from years of me being a knucklehead

Hey dude. Appreciate the links and explanation for the lights. Gonna put LEDs in my z31. Although it looks like you have red LEDs in your dash cluster. If thats true, what bulbs does the dash cluster take?
Thanks for this explanation! With this method, do you not need to remove the valve covers and undue the cam bolts to set proper tension? I know the SM calls for this step for proper tension etc.
I have never had to release the tension through the rockers. What I do is set the motor to TDC, the. With the timing covers off, you can use the crank bolt to ever so slightly release the belt tension by gently rotating the crank CCW. You will see the belt gain slack.
Heres another idea you might like. You could run a fat turbo that builds boost late and use an electric clutched supercharger pulley like the ones found in supercharged Audis, Mercedes, and Toyotas (similar to an AC Compressor clutch). Then you can tune the MS3 ecu to deactivate the clutch once the turbo is fully spooled, that way the supercharger doesnt instill any parasitic loss. Just spitballin some ideas. The supercharger should also help bring down the turbo's boost threshold since youre gonna be building more exhaust gasses due to the supercharger shoving more air in the engine.

I'm actually using HID bulbs for the headlights. You don't want to use LEDs because they will cause the light scatter to be awful. HID bulbs project the light very similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. I got my HIDs from DDM Tuning ddmtuning.com/index.php
Do you have any tips on how to proceed if the cam gears are out of time, I'm doing my belt on a 33 rn and no matter how much I spun the crank the only two that would line up was the driver side cam and crank. The passenger just won't line up, always a bit off and my cams are covered in a couple other marking from the previous owner I presume.
