All of the research I’ve done and I’ve continuously gotten this. Warm up with low intensity cardio for about 10 mins. Get your heart rate up to what is recommended for your height. Usually it’s between 150-180. Then go do weight lifting 6-10 reps. You should be able to only do between 6-10 reps and struggling on the last rep. Weight lifting session should last 45 mins to an hour. Then go do 15 mins of higher intensity cardio. Like running, fast inclined walking, stair climber. Something that gets your blood really pumping and gets you out of breath. Diet should be high protein. 1g of protein per pound of your body weight. If you are overweight subtract the amount of lbs you are overweight. For example if I’m 20 lbs overweight I’d subtract 20g of protein for what is needed for my body. Otherwise you will be OVEREATING. Prioritize protein and everything should be okay. Eat protein within 1-3 hours of starting your workout (don’t lift weights in a fasted state). Then eat again within 1 hour of working out. You don’t have to eat a lot before your workout, your after workout meal is more important. Eat broccoli and other high protein lower carb veggies. Don’t avoid carbs you will get depleted. Just make sure your carbs are simple carbs. Also make sure you are getting enough healthy fats and fiber. Drink plenty of water. Make sure you’re getting enough solid sleep. Stretch every day. Rest from working out on days you feel fatigue or too sore. (Let your body repair itself) That should sum it up pretty good

I started getting back to my fitness again a couple weeks ago after being in the best shape of my life but falling off and gaining like 20lbs back. I already have started seeing significant results in my progress. Here’s what works for me personally: Intermittent fasting (I start eating at noon since I never have an appetite for breakfast anyways and stop eating by 9 or 10pm) Cleaner eating (I load up my plate with veggies and a good protein for every meal and when I treat myself to chips or something it’s in moderation and I keep track of those unhealthy calories. I still treat myself occasionally because I binge eat and don’t like to deny myself what I want so I won’t revert back to it. Of course also lots of water through the day.) Cardio (I really enjoy turning on a movie and doing 5 mile walks every other day or every couple of days. The earlier I do it the better so I start my days off with 10,000+ steps) Weight training (I love using kettlebells personally and I lift heavy. No 5lb dumbbells for me 💪🏽💪🏽 I’ve been focusing more on my lower body because I have a flat butt, chicken legs and lower back issues and lifting helps with all of that) Good luck to everyone and may we all reach or get much closer to our fitness goals in 2024 🥰🙌🏽
