$12? then I took a look at how old the video is. 3 years later it's $24 on Amazon. Still a good value I think for someone who is not going to make dowels on a regular basis or is not a woodworker. Great video but although I know your being careful please, everyone, use a push stick on a table saw.

@carolinaworkshop7091 2 месяца назад
Generally, for a through burn on 1/4" material the speed is like 150mm/minute x 2. So yea 4 hours is about right with this much detail. This is a 10watt diode laser.

I have the same saw; am having problem with the leveling mechanism where you push down on the blue lever. Even with the 2 feet screwed all the way in it still will not move smoothly. Has anyone else had that problem?

I loved everything about this table saw…. UNTIL the MOTOR died. It took a while, but it died. Delta service and Tech Support is virtually nonexistent. I could not get either on the phone after multiple tries and long, long waits. DO NOT BUY THIS SAW. Replacement motor price range from over $800 to over $1000!

It looks like there's a setscrew behind the loosening knob to adjust 90. I would remove the loosening knob with a screwdriver and mess with that. Just a guess.

I’ve had the same saw for six months. It’s now $699 but still great value. It does seem a bit under powered to me, but my table is pretty close to dead flat. Thank you for this review I learned a couple things about the saw I didn’t know!

Looks like the saw is blowing wood dust right back at you lol. I have the Cruzer 12 which has terrible dust collection too but am surprised at how little they cared about proper dust collection.

Hi! Really nice video. I'm trying to adjust the current in low value region (0-30mA) but I enter into an area of instability and the voltage drops. Do you have any suggestion for this problem? My goal is to regulate the current from 0 to 100%

Great for small stuff. You can get by on larger boards but really you don't want to joint anything longer than your jointer bed. I sold the wen once I found a good used full size jointer.

Everytime I see this type of video , I get a chuckle at "it's easy to do". I have been into lasers for a long, long time and "it's easy to do" is misleading. If someone is thinking about getting a laser, understand that what you see in this video will require you to become proficient in the use of three seperate software programs. The learning curve for Light Burn alone is effort , let alone two more levels of software on top of it. "it's easy to do" is purely subjective

You said that you planned on getting rid of that saw later on, presumably to upgrade. I'm curious if you have done that yet, and if so, what did you go with. If not, are you still liking the Delta?

With a hold down on both ends of the board, why cant you rip a straight edge on the board up to the length the saw will allow? My son has the large Grizzly sliding saw in his shop, and he uses it for straight cuts up to 10’. His jointer sees very little use for making a straight edge on a board since he bought the sliding saw.
