Something feels off, the sound is not really good. Don’t get me wrong I love star citizen, but the combat aspect of it is not there yet. Eventually it will be nice but there is still some work to do.
Beautiful stuff... however, the 2D overlay/outlining interface all over those ships is CRAP... please CIG try to find a way for players to just fly their ships next to beautiful ships without all the eidetic crap all over them.
I love it, so dynamic, so engaging. Even if I was really unsure about it first, after some time playing with the Precision Targeting Mode I must say it's very good, especially on big target and for immersion. Seeing other ships close up is very nice. The crosshair in 3.24.2 is just too big for my taste but maybe we can reduce it. Great gameplay!
@@naryaneth It is true that its crosshair is too large, and there is currently a bug that makes it translucent. Other than that, overall it’s a good change
@@TANIL-X For PVP, I think it should be FL-33& LIGHTSTRIKE If you want to do more damage OMNISKY The PVE part should be ATTRITION, but the combat range needs to be within 500m
For PvP, Lightstrike and FL cannons are your best bet. You can also run Omnisky for extra DPS at the cost of lower projectile velocity. Forget the Attritions/MXA/Deadbolts, too slow you'll hit nothing.
I tried running m4as (or whatever the size 4 was) with tigerstrikes and it seemed to be a fun/ok little load out, definitely wanna try those attrition and deadbolts as well
@@seeker_rodan3113 Yes, you can give it a try, but I still want to remind you that these weapons can be used in PVE, but do not try to play PVP, because the bullet speed is too slow and basically cannot hit the player.
@@Cargmania There are many tests that I have not uploaded videos, but in my actual tests, a mixture of live ammunition cannons and laser cannons is very useful, such as DEADBOLT+ ATTRITIO or GT-870+ LIGHTSTRIKE, which have similar bullet speeds. You can try it
This actually looks pretty strong. How does it feel to fly now ? With the F8C rate nerfs i'm looking for a changeup in my fighter hangar for this patch.
@@Quickb3n Compared with 3.23, the mobility has been improved, but due to the setting of reducing the damage of live ammunition weapons, more bullets are needed to defeat the opponent, which is a pity.
The Ares fighters are awful tbh.. they are cool af looking and the concept is cool but their weapons are so trash, even the inferno which is the better of the 2 isnt great. if its alpha was 540 and it had 600 rpm, then id like it more. as for the ion.. Oh boy. its so crap. its S7 gun has worse damage output than a single S5 gun. In order to fix it the base alpha needs to be increased to 3375 and the ROF increased form 50 to 80, it needs a toggle fire for the weapon so you can hold the trigger down in normal fire, or hold it down in charge fire. the charge fire needs a 33% shield bypass when its fully charged, and the charged shot damage needs to be increased to 13500 with ROF of 30 RPM. then it will actually be a threat to the large ships its suppose to fight with its low ROF and do the needed DPM. but CIG will never do that cuz they dont know how to make a game or balance it. were 12 years in and its still junk.
For pve you go inferno for pvp you would go ion but it is still bad in pvp without support. PS:You could go ion if you just want to spam low risk pve though.
I got both. The Inferno is still a CCU token from a Gladiator, the Ion IS a CCU from a Pulse. And I hatte to say it, when i wanted to Go for the Inferno they nerfed the ammo. The i tought, let me get the Ion and now it seems that they messed around again..... So, in General, I Like the Design etc. But I hatte that CIG IS playing around with the stats.... So for now I will Play with the Ion, lets See how it goes.....
They’re both pretty trash right now but due to the nature of ballistics, the inferno can still get the job done. I have flown the ion once this patch. That was enough…
ion is crap cuz CIG is bad at their jobs and balancing. so the ion isnt useable due to ultra low DPM, nor does it do its intended job of being anti large with such horrible DPM output.
Well done! Something to aspire to. Do you have your speed limiter turned off? It's a little blurry and I was trying to figure out why it was at the bottom.
I have already turned off the speed limiter, it is not working because it is a laptop with limited performance, and the picture quality may be slightly inferior
my last few videos have the angle, if you wanna see what i mean. i will say, the game has had some stuttering problems when you plant the camera on the front of the ship, but im hoping that goes away soon. happy flying!@@corleone8523
