If FM is frequency modulation, how does the carrier wave stay at a constant frequency? If I tune in to 98.1 FM, why isn’t the frequency modulating as the input signal moves it?
Thanks for your question, which seems to be about broadcast radio. This is not something Tait is engaged in. There are many online explanations of how FM radio broadcasting works, such as: www.lifewire.com/how-fm-radio-works-3135076
I would have like to have deeper insight on how the Transceiver shuts down circuits during transmit times and starts them up again after transmitting. A knowledge anyone must have when troubleshooting radios like this. Nevertheless, very clear and helpful introduction.
Time 3:00 - Perfect description! I finally understand why we need a carrier. See what education can be taught by skipping all of the BS theory language and math notation until it is actually required. Being able to explain something in such simple words is a sign that someone has a true understanding of the topic and is not just a text book parrot. I wonder how many textbook parrots have a true understanding of the subject that they are babbling about. The best professor I knew was at MIT (i listened to his on-line lectures) and he spoke just like this.
Great to hear that you are wanting to join the Tait dealer network! Please sumbit an inquiry to become a dealer through our General Contact Form here: www.taitcommunications.com/contact#contact
@@Tait-Radio-Communications Are dealer demos going out in the US yet? My dealer is a Tait Gold partner, and doesn't yet have a date for us, but as I am migrating a system from DMR to P25 with phased rollout and need to cover multiple bands, this radio would make a lot of sense for some of my departments.
Unfortunately, we do not have any available to sell. The t-shirts are a limited edition item with only a few units produced. However, keep an eye out in case they become available in the future from hot demand or become part of a giveaway!
I am trying to understand how a wi-fi router works. It sends out a radio signal to create a wi-fi access point by sending radio waves. What it meant by "sending radio waves" in this example? Does the router "shoot" electricity into the air? How does it create these waves?
It's just more bs that cost tax payers more money. Anolog has been good enough for decades. It's actually illegal in the US for police and emergency services to hide their traffic to the public but nobody stops them
