I have echolalia and one of my friends has a stutter😅 a man can up to us and asked why I was making fun of people with stutters I did not know this man but I am questioning was making fun of people who stutter? 😅😅😅 ( is anything is spelled wrong I’m dyslexic and sorry 😅)

I stutter and sometimes have gotten laughed it in the past. I can’t promise it will stop, but I know for sure, I’m still me at the end of the day, I can’t get rid of it. Stay positive even though it’s hard. I know I’m 1 year late
I became a summer camp instructor recently and I stutter sometimes. I was playing card games with a few 7 year-olds. I stammered like "I- I- I-" and the kids found this funny and copied me. So we all sat there a few seconds going "I- I- I- I- I- I- I-"

Dude I totally get this! I've been so self-conscious and embarrassed of my stutter for years, but one day my friend told me he actually liked my stutter, and i had never heard that in my life. I've had all sorts of teasing, from friendly jabs, to just plain mean, luckily most people are fairly patient and understanding, but i had naver gotten any sort of positive reaction to it. So it actually made me feel a little less embarrassed for once, and gave me a new perspective!
