Itachi had two choices: kill danzo and cause the leaf to fall to pieces AND uchiha proceeding with their coupe, which in turn would make sasuke a child soldier and ultimately probably be killed; OR side with danzo (which he most definitely wanted to kill over anyone and everything because of shisui’s death) and do the only option he had and kill the uchiha because they would never stop. Only one option stopped war in that foreseeable moment and saved sasuke’s life. And after because of his guilt, chose to punish himself by being the perceived monster and went to the akatsuke to further protect the leaf by infiltration of the akatsuke and being a sleeper and pseudo leader to control worse things from happening. I’m not even an Itachi glazer, that’s just literally him. If anyone doesn’t understand it you gotta go back and watch again. He’s really that good of a person.

To whoever says you need to show leadership and maturity to become Chunin needs to stfu now, becausw if thats the case then Sakura and the other rookies should of stayed Genin as well because they hadn't matured that much, shit Sakura punches Naruto just because he jokes around which is idiotic and not even funny, that's just called being a abusive bitch. Also Shikamaru literally failed his first mission as a Chunin and still lacked the leadership skills, Tsunade had no choice but to have a brand new promoted Chunin to lead a squad of Genin to save Sasuke because the Jonins were out doing missions. But even if you are a brand new promoted Chunin you still do missions with a group of Chunin or even a Jonin, you don't just lead a team right away. Naruto literally defeated Gaara and Shikaku without even using Kurama, ya he used Gamabunta to get close to Gaara to wake him up from Shukaku's control. Naruto deserved to be ranked up to Chunin after the Sound and Sand invasion, not only he showed leadership and comradery but he also protected a whole damn village from Shukaku's destruction which something a KAGE SHOULD BE DOING not a Genin. This is why I always be saying that Naruto should of have been trained at an early or at least when he hits 4 or 6, because he had so much potential bigger potential than Itachi when it comes to being a Shinobi, he literally been avoiding and outrunning Anbu at a early age and you guys aren't telling me that Naruto isn't a prodigy?!?
