So awesome seeing you visit my favorite haunt when i was living in Chicago. Steve even gave me VIP tickets and a shirt one year because i won a contest. I was already a loyal patron so winning it was pretty awesome. Its haunts like Dream Reapers, Eleventh Hour, Evil Intentions, Statesville and Realm of Terror that made me the haunt enthusiast i am today. I've even visited all your haunts in St Louis many times Larry and love them! Thanks for showing me the behind the scenes!
just as a one man show home haunter it takes me 90 days for one night and prob $4k a year in new stuff. then the labor figure 80+ hours a week for 90 days then the cleanup after. its brutal as even a solo act. running 3 commercial haunts your crazy keep it up!

Knotts Berry Farm is FAR better than Universal Orlando or Hollywood...outclassing them in every aspect, without a single IP, especially with the horrible choices for IPs at Universal these last few years... BUT, yeah even the best Amusement Park Halloween Haunt event does not compare to things like The Darkness or Fear Factory in Utah...they are all just different experiences.

Your feelings on Scream is my feelings on Halloween and Friday the 13th. lol I think they made too many of those two films. To me Freddy is the ultimate horror icon. That is the one thing with horror everyone has their favorite franchise and villain. I might be in the minority, but I loved Freddy vs. Jason.
Larry I would love to see you buy a prop from a HD or Lowes and do some extra work on it so you can display it in one of your haunted attractions. I find what the haunt industry does is so interesting and fun to watch.
Home Depot really knocked it out of the ballpark this year. There's so many Great value buys out there right now. The 5-ft gorgoyle with a repaint it is incredible.
I think I heard that home depot was waiting for labor day weekend to put put the halloween stuff so probably the other ones will have their stuff out soon
