Glad you’re enjoying it and I’m sure you’ll have a blast once you get you your checkride completed. The Robinson helicopters are great trainers and very low maintenance. I’ve flown all sorts of helicopters over the last 25 years and been doing the opposite of you by adding all my fixed-wing ratings. Let me know if you want to trade some seat time in your jet for turbine heli time.
Really cool seeing the mechanical/electrical side of these planes! You had a video a while back about inspecting a G4 prior to purchase, did you ever get the engine borescope footage? Would LOVE to see more on that!
As a pilot of the 90’s with thousands of hours. Aviation let me down so hard I left and never went back. Impossible to get a job back then and if you wanted to actually get paid- well good luck with that. I still wonder where I’d be if I staid broke from another decade. I ended up making a ton of money in real estate but I know where my true calling was…
You're video's are the best! Im out here hustling as an owner/operator in the trucking world to get my PPL. I'm making 5 - 6k a week, so I hope it doesn't take too long. Maybe when the time comes, there will be another deal like this.
Keep making these videos man! Love them. Nice to see someone who isn’t a cringey RU-vidr. Those citations are fun planes to fly. Used to work for a 135 with a bunch of them we used for medevac. When they’re light they’re little rippers. Will get into some small strips. Fell through getting an FO seat but learning a lot working towards CFI. Goal is a job in Alaska. Keep making videos for us who don’t want to watch cringey RU-vidrs
Love the channel, you just feel good after watching the video. Keep ya head up & doing your thing!!!!! Idea for a video maybe a day in the life a peek behind the pilot life??? just a thought
I would spend every second on my own jet 😂 doesn’t matter how long it takes! Your videos are a big inspiration! It makes me want to have my own success!
You're a big inspiration, man. Giving big goals to shoot for and visualize. I'm a pretty fresh A&P but always had the goal of flying. I'm closing on my first plane this week to bust out my ratings and move up in the pilot world. Keep it up and see you in the sky.
Did you do the install of the Sandel/Nighthawk 4550 and 4500? Is the 4550 as plug-and-play as they make it sound for replacing a Sperry unit? How do you like them?
Unfortunately, I did not do the install. I bought the plane with all of the hardware as is except for the upgrades that I have done.. I believe the STC from Jet tech to add the RVSMand the Sperry units WAS NORTH OF 200,000
