I know you are not doing any convetion here but if you have an idea please help. Can i run a 4jb1 mechanical pump with original 4jh1 injectors and injector lines on a 4jh1 after conversion
I have replaced the injectors and put a new hp pump on, I have it running with easy start but no harmony. I'm going to now lign the pump up as described in your video and will post update. This has been a long rebuild and your video is the only one I have found after months of trying to get this back on the road. I will update soon thank you
Hi, very informative videos I just have a quick question, I have an izuzu npr 4jh1x which I have taken the injector pump out of today. I aligned the mark on the flywheel pulley for tdc, put the bolt through the scissors gear and the dot on the injector pump gear matched with the arrow on the timing gear cover. I was just thinking afterwards I never checked the rocker arms to see if they are free on cylinder 1. Is it possible to have the marks matching but be on the wrong stroke? Pump is out and being sent off so just looking for some advice on whether I made a rookie error. Thank you.
Hi, if said timing marks align then all is fine, not nescarry to remove valve cover checking if rockers free or not, just focus on the manufacturers isuzu timing marks for your engine,
Thanks very much for the reply, there is no mark for the cam on my engine as shown in your video. My crank pulley, pump and scissors gear marks are in line I just think I'm 180 degrees out. Rockers arms tight on cylinder 1 loose on 4. I'm working myself up here over nothing I hope 😂
@@Ss-hk5fy my video as shown is for 4jh1 3.0 diesel 2003 engine, if your engine is so then your marks should be identical, either way you will find you have a cam mark somewhere there, you must have one, thats all I can say to you, good luck with it
