It's a video I edited in 2010. I kept it as originally rendered. I removed it from the Internet only weeks after. But watching it again a few days ago, I found it really attractive. There's something in it with raw power and also fragility which are fascinating. You can see at the end Sam's dead arm syndrome. A fews days after Stanford she had to stop her R1 match at Carlsbad, due to some extreme arm pain: over a decade, I don't remember it has ever happened again. B.
Thank you! Yes, you have most of my footage in that video. However, I have been told the match was aired on French TV. There were tones of SAM's 2010 tennis at the end of the first set and the beginning of the second set, very enjoyable to watch again. B.
I was gutted that Sammy got knocked out of both the singles and doubles. She has a real presence and understated charisma on the court, and will be a huge loss for the tournament. Best wishes and luck for Wimbledon Samabtha.
Both the court and Sam’s T-shirt are blue: I have modified the chroma for aesthetics reasons; on the third sequence, the court is still the same, all the colours are modified this time, except the color of the ball, the whites, the shadows and the skin. B.
Solaris: exactly. One of my favourite movie too. B. "Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again."
The artist is Max Freegrant. He is a very young and talented DJ. The track I have selected is "About You". You will find 2 versions of it onto the iTunes Store. B.
