Hi, thanks for stopping by, I build things here: mainly little models, marble runs, and anything else that might fit in that category, or that just catches my eye, (basically I try and post the wooden model videos twice a day. I generally aim to keep my videos in the 10-20 minute range and hopefully they are informative as well as entertaining. Anyways, thanks for reading, feel free to leave a comment or question in any of the comments sections and I'll try and get back with you.

You’ll also occasionally see shorts featuring my dogs, I think I’ll try to post these on Saturday, they aren’t trained or really do any tricks…but we still manage to have some fun, and look cute to boot.

That would have been the early versions of both the phone booth and mail box since that was what the early settlers would have known

Great work looking good, thanks for sharing … just a teeny tiny word of advice, I know you like things solid but please be mindful when gluing the floor to the walls when you get to the final steps of meshing all the pieces together you lose the “luxury” of wiggle room and flexibility, unless you have a sledge hammer handy 🤣 (ask me how I know)

🤣🤣 Another person building this things said, this one smells fine but some smell so bad i think Chinese are doing chemical warfare against us 😅😂 Regarding time laps i don't usually like them but i do like them from You tubers of SpaceX in Bocacica south Texas where Elon Musk is building the biggest rocket. like thousand of employers working there in the open day and night 24/7

It's not the worst smelling one, and I think now that it's aired out it helps a bit, but you can sure smell the chemicals.🤢

do you find the wax better than the vaseline you use to use
@Dbuilderguy
@Dbuilderguy 2 дня назад
I think it's a toss up, the vaseline is messier while you're handling the pieces, where the wax gets everywhere once the parts start moving, someone has told me that the vaseline is stickier than the wax so I think I am going to avoid it on the spring powered builds from now on, but I will probably keep using it on the more manual driven builds.

Thank you so much for all your help! This was my first book nook build and it took me about 14 hours (spread across 2 days) and I watched all your videos to help get me through putting it all together. Mind didn’t come out as great as yours (as far as the paint job goes) but I like to think of it as adding my own unique twist to things lol. This one was challenging but you definitely saved me a lot of headaches and stress. Bless you!!! ♥️🙏

Glad it helped! I think adding your own twists it part of the fun of sets like this, I've recently started coloring in the sides of the wood with a black marker to really make things pop, so far it looks pretty good to me. I'll warn you now, these book nooks can be addictive, but they are fun! 👍
