I miss this game so much. For a long time it was the only online game i could play (and i no longer want to try more). I also played a lot with my brother, just the two of us so we mostly tried small maps Some of the coolest i remember are a mod of "tutorial" where you play as a grunt and the ghost of the opera plays in the background. Another one was deltaruins, i only could get that sentinel beam once Another great one was jarassic park, it had some dinosaur models and several custom weapons, it was a lot of fun and bc of that map i became a fan of system of a down Too bad the community died with the servers of gamespy, no one longer plays Yoyorast island or extinction (or even classic maps like timberland and chiron)... I miss playing with my brother Also i was part of a clan where we only played in a map named [H3] bloodgulch. It was one of my favorite bloodgulch modded maps because of the spartan laser and the secret portal
I've seen others in the comments mention the G4P Stranded. I made some of the models used in that version. Learning how to get models from blender into GMod specifically for that version of Stranded was a whole journey. I still have the G4P Stranded Gamemode files. Sometimes I miss the grind, but I just don't have that kind of time to grind any longer.
I didn't beat 20 waves, but I was able to do some good damage on Classic hardmode by using the Tiki armor with a bunch of summon buffs, the Deadly Sphere Staff, golden shower, a summon whip, and the ufo mount. I think I had 7 or 8 spheres and an AFK farm mostly handling mobs, then used the ufo mount to dodge elite attacks, and pick up hearts. I'd also get off the ufo when the pumpkin boss got too close, and I needed a faster descent to get out of his way. But the deadly spheres do really intense dps with the whip. Maybe also a ranged weapon or Terra Blade to keep yourself out of harm's way and still add damage while you're at it. I can usually beat 12 waves before morning this way, buff up the summon armor, and get the Horseman's Blade after a few tries.
This is the worst video i think i have ever seen... your tip is "don't do it till after you finish and are op" what a stupid video. There is actual ways to beat it using strategy, which i just figured out on my own and got the gear from betsy when you are supposed to. Use ballistas with Valhalla armor and good dps and fight here after the golem. don't listen to this stupid video.
Why are all the good dimension mods on forge? I really hate that the community split but now there are more mods on fabric and there's mod I won't play without.
Great video but i cant download the addonpeds file it will apear as a text if i download it and not as a zip, Can someone help? (I got stuck at 7:52) EDIT:(If you have the same problem you have to download winrar and the open the file with winrar so you can get the right file)
This was a really good video. If I can give a little feedback I felt the audio was pretty quiet. I work in the editing industry specifically audio editing and have worked in radio and recording studios. One tick i'd like to offer is when you finish editing your video try and make sure your audio is consistantly around minus eight (-8) to minus three (-3) decibels (db). This is an industry standard most people will edit their audio levels to. This will make it so your audio is a similar volume to youtube channels with big followings so when people click from a youtube channel with a studio like Mr.Beast to your video the audio is the same level and the user wont need to adjust their volume settings. Very informative video I'll will surley be playing one of these seeon.
