We bought the exact same kit and it did not come with instructions. We were completely lost until we found your video and it explained everything perfectly. Thank you!
Thanks for the video however you leave out stuff like how hard it is to actually use this standing up with material that's gotta go much deeper for the button to get to while not often on a table it's very difficult to get these square enough to where when you press them that they don't get crooked and pop off on the 1st snap so there's some getting used to it for sure I'm using it to try to put some snaps on my Bimini on my boat without taking the Bimini off its frame is very difficult standing up in the air outside definitely not the same as doing it for practice on a box....
This is EXACTLY what I bought the tool for. It's one of the snaps that is under the most pressure back where the bimini side flap comes down and snaps to the rail. Any advice?
But you only put one piece in there what do I do with the second piece?!?!?! They both had the big whole thing but where did you put the big hole things!!?? This is useless
Im trying to install speaker wire with this exact same terminal ends. Will it affect if i dont solder it. I also dnt have a crimping tool so i used the tip of my strippers to lock the wire in. It still doesnt work. I might have to run new wire. Any suggestions?
@@Mightydoobieroller if you have a voltmeter then you can diagnose the problem. It could be one of a dozen things, but my guess is you probably didn't crimp one of the plugs tight enough (make sure that the teeth wrap around each other like a small duct) or they need a tiny dab of solder after all. Also good to know is that speaker wire shouldn't be too thin. It typically comes in 16 gauge, thicker if you want to bridge larger distances.
Pliers...umm NO!! The correct description is Dykes Side Wire Cutter..the term Dykes came from linemen who shortened the description of the tool into a jargon of sort (D)iagonal (C)utter(S).. and No.. Not Plier cutter.. Diagonal Pliers.Yes, that's acceptable..why are they angled.. it's for small tight areas and angled incase your cut needs to be straight and fingers need the best grip possible.. honestly.. this girl gets half the proper description incorrect.. she's a real Helen Keller this girl 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I got mine off Temu for £4. It is the very same one just cheaper and I came here for better instructions. Works the same and looks identical. Good luck and blessings.
Didn't you mean to label the VCELINK as flush cutters instead of side cutters? (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YKu9RW3hjZA.htmlsi=5h6KDOZp8fTVEXyz&t=20)
You stripped the outer and the inner insulation together on the 2 x18awg Romex cable. I want to strip off just the outer, and keep the inter two insulated, up to 10mm in length.
I carry a small selection of wires with crimps either end - 1 with male crimps 1 with female crimps 1 with male and female crimps. This allows me to bypass switches when I’m fault finding. DISCLAIMER I never, never leave them in place. Switches are there for a reason, namely safety. This is purely part of a process of elimination to find a problem.
if you are working on a professional project, you might want to try the Knipex. Alternatively, try Preciva. Check out this link for more details: pliersman.com/best-wire-ferrule-crimper/
