I have pretty much lost damn near all faith in Saleh. Would like to see JD pick another (pref more qualified) HC if Saleh fails. Which seems very likely unless Aaron saves his job. Which he is here to do.
Saleh seems like a nice guy but sucks at his job. Douglas seems like an asshole and sucks at his job. Rodgers is just self absorbed and eventually his talent is overshadowed by his selflessness. Majority of Jet fans are disconnected. Some actually think this team has been good while other just hold onto this blind hope that Rodgers is the answer to everything. To get this player, that the packers wanted to get rid of, the jets had to give up draft capital, sign his offensive coordinator, sign his back up and sign two washed up wide receivers. Who knows what else they had to do. In about 5 months these same streams will probably be filled with what a mistake it was.
Why not just find a new team to be a fan of. Be honest you know they not doing nothing this year. You prob thinking like well I'm sure they could get to the playoffs and then rodgers could be lethal. Lmao that's not happening, the coaching is bad and so uncoordinated. Noone is on the same page, it's a patchwork roster just adding blind pieces in key positions. Got players not showing up like rodgers and Reddick,, when they should have paid Bryce Huff. Wrs or just a tad bit overrated, oline is still weak and again the coaching leadership is not leading them thru a playoff run. They will just clash with eachother every week
Just because Robert Saleh was told ahead of time that Aaron had plans for this week does not mean that it needs to be excused. Prior notification to the absense does not excuse the absense. As an example; Employee: i have a thing happening the first week of our mandatory group outing I will not be coming in. Employer: well It's mandatory for a reason, and as the head manager it would be even more important that you show up. Why is it you wont be able to make it, if you dont mind my asking? Employee: its just something thats important to me. Employer: More important than your multi million dollar job where you are the head manager of? Completely on board with his thinkin on both Conklin and DJ/MCII Also agree with Ryan on his take that MCII may be a cheaper option for the Jets while possibly out performing Reed. Reed is good, it what can he do as a true number 1? Different schemes show different strengths/weaknesses. Interesting to see how this all pans out
Nfl playoff teams have certain things in common, 13 plus drafted starters , 3 plus second contract drafted starters and 15 plus returning starters. Would you rather use the money on AVT, Carter, JJ, Sauce, GW, Hall and maybe Reed/ Conklin.
