@@immoggle I hope you do man. I got the NC 3.75 and because I live in England I got the BBR stage two turbo kit. It's 300 at the fly and 270 to the wheels. It's the most I've ever spent on a hobby but it's the best money I have ever spent on a hobby. I don't regret it one bit.
Man, after 85,000 uses of the word "SUPER", I decided to find another video. Seriously man, do yourself a a favor and find a vocabulary that doesn't repeat the same word over and over.
Lol this was one of my first videos and I was really nervous about being on camera. I kept saying it subconsciously out of nervousness 🤣 I'm working on being less camera shy but I really appreciate any feedback positive or negative it all helps 🤜🏽🤛🏽 😎
Honestly both are pretty cool and have their pros and cons but one thing I can say is mini is BMW product so they're a lot more expensive to repair and break down more often 👀 Miata is also more impractical than a mini roadster though as far as space goes
@@immoggle I'm a fan of impractical! Reliability issues tho can be a killer. I already had a Fiat that started having issues 8 months after purchase. Something about these oddball small cars I can't get enough of.
Thank you I really appreciate it! I'm really proud of how it came out thanks! And it took me about 6 days of working on the wrap to finish it lol it's pretty time consuming 🥹🤣
Where did you mount the other side of the harness, did you drill a hole in your transmission tunnel or mount it to the seat rails? I'm doing some research before I pick up a harness and would like to know, thank you!
I mounted it to the sparco seat bracket because I needed the car ready for a drift day but some places will require that it's mounted to the chassis (drilling the hole) so it depends where you go if they'll let you run it. But both ways are fine and safe. The factory one is also mounted to the seat bracket
At the time sales for the NSX were really bad and they kinda just sat around in showroom floors. The car was pretty unappreciated at it's time, which is crazy because they're so sought after now lol 🤣
@@immoggle Tried to get confirmation (internet...), saw none. That's my best guess anyway. Used to own a 91' back in '96. Looking back the powertrain seems so weak.
@@siddiqahmad5193 lol yeah well just say it's potato potato on that car 🤣 and the car felt pretty solid to me but definitely by today's standards it's not the craziest car yeah lol
Yes, it is in the same place as it is on my 93 RX-7, which is at the back of the window frame. Although on the RX-7 the keyhole is also up there which gives it a cleaner look.
Yo I seen Miata and I hit subscribe lol that red color is pretty sick I been wanting to get a Miata can’t decide na or nb but I know wanna slide it and turbo it curious on your preference and why ?
THANK YOU! Glad to have you here lol! And personally I prefer the NB because they're all the 1.8L and the chassis is more reenforced and rigid compared to the NA but tbh they're both really cool. I don't think you can go wrong either way! Hope you get one!
practice makes perfect....was it originally BRG?? Saw the green engine bay and rear luggage tray area in your is miata really the answer vid....at least I think thats what it was called hahahahaha.....glad to see everyone having fun
Right! I can't wait to go back and practice again! And yeah the original color was BRG but I learned to wrap cars 2 years ago and I've changed it's color twice already 😂. We did have a blast thank you! Also thank you for sticking around for multiple videos, I really appreciate it and hope you're enjoying the channel!
Mine went in with no modifications yeah but the door card does press against the seat when the door is closed so I have to close it hard. You also have an NB?
That's true actually, you cant really lean over in a harness! Now that you put it that way I'm going to try and see if I can keep both installed at the same time. Thanks for the idea!
The video was good but the video title isn't good, Miata Review would've been better, since you didn't talk that much about the upsides and downsides, like how you drive etc. but mainly how it is to live with a miata
I can see your point! I will take this into consideration with creating titles in the future. Thanks for the feedback I really appreciate it and hope you liked the video overall!
One needed correction, the 6th speed on the 6-speed gearbox is actually a little bit shorter than the 5th speed on the 5-speed gearbox. So the RPMs when cruising on the highway are actually a little bit higher than on the 5-speed. The way you should think is that the 6-speed actually adds one more gear INBETWEEN the 5 gears of the 5-speed gearbox. Also it is stronger internally making more robust for turbo applications.
Really? Hmm.. I've owned both and in 6th gear on the highway I'm sitting at much lower RPM than on the 5 speed. You're definitely correct about holding more power in turbo applications but at least in my experience the RPM is much lower at highway speed 🤔
@@immoggle It might be true, because of the final drive difference. I am from Europe so i don't know which versions miatas were shipped with. But if the final drive is the same on the 5-speed as in the 6-speed then my comment holds true. Now if you pair the 3.6 final drive with the 6-speed of course the RPM would be lower when cruising at highways. But if i am not mistaken the 3.6 was a rare option. On my miata, i 've destroyed my 5-speed (couldn't handle the torque from a quick spooling garrett2554r), so i found a 6-speed and there was about a 100rpm increase in 6th gear.)
From what I understand the Miatas in the European market were different and even came with the 1.6L engine for a lot longer instead of the 1.8L that the US market ones came with. Mine came with a 1.8L VVT in it which is pretty uncommon. I'm not sure what the final drive is on my car but the RPMs are pretty low in 6th gear on the freeway going 80 compared to my 5 speed NB
I’ve been crushing on the NB for over 5 years now lol, I’m about to graduate college, will start job hunting. Once the money is rolling in, I’m going to look into finally owning one
They're both NRG And yeah it's pretty simple to install but just make sure that you disconnect your battery and let it drain before trying to remove your airbag 👀
This has to be one of the best compliments I've ever received dude thanks! 🥹 Haha but yes I do love my plushies and exploding kittens is such a fun game with to play with friends! Haha!
@@immoggle i got the car a while back with my dad, it needed work so we're restoring the whole thing. Im looking forward to your plans for your NB mate.
Sorry I misread your original comment but daaang that's super cool man! Do you have any content on the restoration? I'd love to watch it! Also thank you! I'm glad to you along for the journey my friend!
@immoggle I do plan on posting like an image slideshow of like each phase of restoration, then an actual drive when it's ready, but i could show you the progress on discord probably.
