We are a corgi interrupted crafty channel exploring the spinning, knitting, sewing and reading I have been diving into while navigating running a small yarn dyeing business.
To wear your beret - try taking cues from military regulations and pull the beret forward, make it go straight across your forehead then lap it over jauntily to one side. See if you like this, if not try some variation but avoid having it sit like a pie on your head
Man, your video had an ad in the middle of it that is 1 hour 30 minutes long. I think it was a campaign ad. That was the longest I have ever seen one. I just wanted to let you know.
Loving the beret and blouse (dress?) combo. So autumnal. Very much enjoyed your Flock haul! I so wish I could have been there. I hope it was a good show for you xx
I just downloaded “The Longest Autumn” on Audible. All your fault, just saying. You introduced me to the fantasy genre and I just love it. Took me 60 years to get here, but I’m all in now. The beret is so cute.
The beret looks adorable on you! I think they are supposed to sit slightly tilted?? Either way, it looks great on you and the Patchwork shawl goes so well with the beret. I wish I could wear hats, but they give me headaches.
Joanna mentioned your Sims Office podcast this morning on our Stitching the High Notes zoom group. What fun this must be for you! Loved the tiled ceiling!
OMG you have to read all the Cassandra Gannon. She is the best! Her A Kinda Fairytale series and her Elemental Phases series are amazing. Love them! The quilting gene also skipped me. My mom and great grandmas all quilt but I do not. I have done a few small things and felt meh about them.
Have you ever seen The 10th Kingdom movie/miniseries? It’s really long, but it sounds on the same line as one of the books you were talking about. It’s cute, funny all of the things.❤
Boy, lots of work but it sure looks wonderful. Vinegar in a large 2-3 gallon sprayer would be grand for weed control. You just don't want vinegar near anything you want to NOT KILL, haha!
I make pet blankets all the time. You can use your hexagons for a blanket for one of your pets. Also, your local animal shelter may accept blankets for their cats. The blankets can make the cats more relaxed and their cages look more homey, which can help them get adopted!
I also have some stuff that I don't wear anymore at all and I either put them in charity donations or take them to fiber events to gift to friends. I am glad I'm not the only one.
@@PliesHellhounds Great! which number did you choose as the finished garment measurements CM from the instructions book ? many thanks for your feedback
@@sewingwithfto my finished measurements was the 90cm bust, and I did extend the waist to the 78cm waist for a more comfy fit. for reference I have a 78cm bust
That one is going to a friend! I loved knitting it but the colors weren't me, and I no longer carry that base so I didn't need to hold onto it for Samples
Dying over the giant trim! I’m constantly buying things online that are way larger or smaller than expected. I feel like this could be amazing on a Christmas tree somehow too. A victorian vampire pirate Christmas?
Ahh I love hearing about the home projects. My wife and I are in the process of buying our first house and it's so stressful but it's nice to think about all the fun projects to come!
IT IS SO STRESSFUL. I wish you two the best of luck, it was not a fun process but making up all the ideas for when you get into a house is a good distraction during all the stress
Do u by any chance remember how many yds you used and what yarn? Thank u so much for ur reply, love ur style xxx it’s def nice to follow someone who doesn’t knit projects that are petite knits-esc aesthetic all the time 😭😭😭😭😭
@@kristinanguyen7256 This is the cropped Size two and I used 3 skeins of my Revival DK and 2 skeins of my Fig Lace (I think I dont think I used more than 3 of the mohair so maybe 3 and 3 to be safe)
I have a million summer tops I want to cast on too! Even though New England summer lasts a hot second I don't care. 😂 you have added even more to my list now.
