Dylan Singh-Dorsey is a 13-year-old bass student from Valley Stream, NY. Most recently, he earned a perfect score for his level 6 NYSSMA audition, playing the Sonata in G minor by Henry Eccles. He was the first chair bass in the Long Island String Festival 7th Grade Orchestra/Nassau Secondary in February 2024, led by Mr. Stephen Czarkowski. Additionally, Dylan was the bass player in the Division 3 Nassau All-County Jazz Band under the direction of Mr. Sean Fitzpatrick.

In March 2023, Dylan earned first chair bass in the Long Island String Festival 6th Grade Orchestra/Nassau Intermediate under the direction of Ms. Amy Yamagishi. In January 2023, Dylan was the bass player in the Nassau All-County Division 2/3 Jazz Band led by Ronald Carter.

In 2021, he earned a perfect score for his first NYSSMA audition, playing the level 4 selection, Minuet in G Major by J.S. Bach.

Since 2019, Dylan has studied acoustic and electric bass with renowned educator and bass virtuoso, Mr. Al Cardillo.
