A retired school teacher over in Barton county..Mary O'xxxx had a 67 she bought new with a 289 and 3 speed column shift. Last time I saw it it had 277,000 on it. Second timing chain and it smoked because the oil back then and the rings Ford used weren't that great but it would still start and run and drove away on the day of sale. It probably had been serviced with Kerr-McGee oil most of its life at a local filling station.

Nice Falcon! Please leave it a straight six! So may people buy a car like this, or a Nova, with a good running straight six, and they think: "Oh, it's just a six, I'll put in a V8 with lotsa power!

My family had a 1966 Ford Falcon. Four door 289 V8. Grandpa bought it new. Drove it for five years. Gave it to my mom. She drove it for ten years. She gave it to my brother. He drove it for a few years. He gave it to me. I drove it for a few years. It was low on power when I sold it to a buddy of mine for $150.00 He took the oil pan off. Cleaned the pick up screen. And it ran good again. That poor car never got any love. We just drove and drove it. Twenty years. Oil Change ? Once maybe. I didn't do it. What a great car.

Same with this show I always find out about these when it's done and ov😢 over with and never get to go and enjoy anything like this.

My one neighbor who owned a service station had one of these cars.

I wish people would announce these events in a couple of months in advance so everyone who wants to go could and would go for the ride and enjoy the old rides.
