The weird smell is coming from the egg white protein powder. That is the only thing I do not like about the recipe. If only we could reduce the amount needed for the flour.

This is kind of hard to answer, but I’ll do my best. I bought most of the ingredients on Amazon: Bamboo fiber (1000 gram) $22 Almond flour (1360 gram) $12 Egg white powder $28 (as of 7/2/24), but it was $18 when I bough it in 12/2023 Xanthan gum is $10 at my local grocery store. I usually make 1 batch of her flour at a time which is 430 grams = 0.95 lbs. almost 1 pound of flour. I was able to get 5 batches out of 1 bag of bamboo fiber (1000 gram bag from Amazon). So in total, it’s about $14/lb for the first 5 lbs, if you only buy each ingredient once.
I just found this video, and I have gone online to Amazon, target, Walmart and King Soopers, 6:38 entering the same that is on your bottle and no one has it.
interesting…i’m glad i found this after your other video. another person i watched also said that sugar free is sweeter but like a diet coke, and zero sugar is more true to original taste like coke zero. hmm 🤔 time to do my own test
I think folks will have their preferred non-sugar sweetened version. I wish there were more zero sugar/sugar free flavored version available. I find them difficult to track down
thank you. i don’t drink regular redbull much anymore because im trying to watch my health and my figure. but for the past year or so i’ve enjoyed sugar free when i indulge. i purchased a zero for the first time tonight and i too felt like the aftertaste of zero was more odd, but the initial was more smooth. i didn’t have either to compare it to and i wondered what other people thought and also why they don’t make their other flavors in diet versions instead! i appreciated your insight on it mainly being a marketing ploy, i agree
If you find other electrolyte supplements aren’t enough to help you recover after the exertion and sweating, these may be a good option since they have more sodium than what I have seen in grocery store supplements. Definitely check with a health care provider before using any electrolyte supplement regularly, because it’s possible to get a lot of sodium in your diet and you may only need a potassium or magnesium supplement.

Ok, so I love Raspberry Mocha Lattes from Starbucks. I made the chocolate raspberry LMNT with 40 oz of coffee and 2 tbsp of butter. (I use decaf coffee) I whip it up in my Vitamix blender. I needed to make 40oz because it was at the point that I could stand the saltiness. I typically drink one packet like the regular citris or raspberry with 64oz of water and I love it so I may make the chocolate raspberry with 64 oz of decaf coffee to cut even more of the saltiness.....I drink one to 2 cups in the morning and bring the rest witj me at work in my Stanley cup so it stays hot/warm throughout the day. I may experiment chilling the coffee afterwards and pouring over ice but for now, increasing the amount of liquid its going into, decreases the saltiness.
Yeah, for the fruit flavors, I dilute the packet in a BIG travel cup. The coffee/butter combo sounds like it would be rich and tasty! Smart idea to blend it!
I just made a pie crust from that flour, it didn't do well for a bottom crust but it wasn't bad for just a top one. I'm glad to know the biscuits turned out.
Did you bake the bottom crust before adding the filling? I haven’t tried using it for pie yet. A biscuit top for a chicken cobbler/casserole type dish has worked out for me too.

Yes, the cup has a tiny pocket where steam heats the milk. The foam layer is thick and the milk comes out hot and frothy. There’s an option that has a steam wand and it’s a bit cheaper.
Yes, I estimated (maybe overestimated lol) that my husband and I would spend about $650 in pods based on the amount of coffee/espresso we drink. With the LatteGo, it’s a very pricy purchase and I can buy bulk whole beans from Sam’s for about $23/bag. Now, will that be cheaper than Nespresso? I’m not sure bc the price of whole beans at a regular grocery store is high for our coffee drinking habits.
I was in the market for a Nespresso, but wasn’t keen to purchasing pods. I used to have a Keurig and keeping up with pods purchases and storage was annoying for me. Nespresso pods are so pretty though and storing those on the counter looks cute, so that was fully for aesthetic. And everyone that has one likes the flavors and coffee quality. I saw Kallie at @butfirstcoffee talk about the Phillips espresso machine on her Instagram account. A friend of mine purchased it and they really liked it. Then after many months of weighing my options, Nepresso vs Phillips, I chose the LatteGo.
I absolutely love all the Taco Bell sauces. My favorite is Diablo but unfortunately I can't have hot sauce anymore. So I go with the mild. I had it on my potatoes yesterday and it was wonderful seeing as I have a gluten and dairy intolerance and can't eat anything super yummy anymore. Anyways, great video. Hot chocolates are a daily staple for me and I’ve been struggling to find a zero sugar alternative that actually has a strong flavour (I like my chocolate really dark like Italian or Spanish hot chocolates!). I tried LMNT Chocolate Salt which I kind of loved except the salt was just WAY too strong for me. But now I’m wondering if I should not have put the whole packet into one mug, because the mug would not have been 16oz….so the flavour was probably way strong, but it looks like you have just a big mug… how many oz? Have you tried them with butter added to the hot water?
I haven't made her cut butter biscuit recipe yet! I'll definitely have to make it next time I put together a batch of flour. I'm waiting for my egg powder to come in.
