Lucky Dog Racing League (www.RaceLucky.com) was born out of the desire to offer competitive yet safe, fun yet affordable, wheel-to-wheel road course endurance racing without the usual barriers to entry…complex rules and the need to have a trust fund. Our experienced staff is all racers themselves and committed to keeping you on track and delivering safe events at amazing tracks across America, awesome formats from 7 to 24 hours, great seat time value, easy car prep, understandable rules...and offering a bull-free experience. Regardless of win or lose, any day spent at the race track makes us all Lucky Dogs!
Its been many years since I've raced with Lucky Dog but seeing a modified corvette makes me think the rules have changed a lot since then. These "500 point" cars (if thats still a thing) must be getting fast
I moved back to Virginia so I can no longer participate but I have to say that lucky dogs is by far the best racing league in the country. I love them. If you’re looking to race with a bunch of fun good hearted people this is your place.
*** No real on track action until 1:27:42 when I come around in the General Leif to kick off the wondrous day at the start of practice! *** 1:32:04 Horny Toad's Mustang having some PCM issues making for some interesting sounds! 7:06:43 Worker's Revenge CRX lifting off instead of accelerating while hugging the apex a little more than they meant to. 7:20:04, hmmm, Fieroline and General Leif, I wonder if something is going to happen to either of them soon... 7:29:54 The Heros Motorsport Jetta driving from one side of the track to the other, hopefully on purpose! - If it was on purpose, that was a perfect move to leave us a wide track on corner exit, but if it wasn't, they probably came into the corner too hot, lifted off and started to oversteer and that pointed them back across the track. Heh. Seriously though, if you follow this car into the braking zone at 10, you see it squirming all over the place as if there is serious play in the suspension and/or a brake issue. Maybe it isn't the fault of the drivers that it is all over the place at every race! It looks dangerous to drive, especially considering it has new drivers in it often. 7:49:08 Rightline's E36 BMW drifting around the turn with AR Motorsport's E46 attempting a similar feat just 10 seconds later. 7:54:28 Fieroline's driver experimenting with the grassy version of the outside line, followed by the General Leif starting to push limits(or get tired) at 7:54:48. 8:06:05 FINALLY, I found where the General Leif's driver decided not to turn for turn 11 and drove off the track! We haven't seen the in car footage yet, but he safely re-entered on the drag strip. :)
Not "up to two hours run time per team mate" It's at least two hours per person. The April Ridge race was two 7 hour races, so 14 hours total and you have 4 drivers, so split evenly that's 3.5 hours per person. Very nice video, just wanted to correct the record.
