Sometimes I think Daisuke's vision is more akin to Daisuke's hallucinations. There is no way someone at ASW will see the 4 HVV combo and not nerf it to hell sooner or later.
I swore there was a change with TK DP HVV, I suddenly wasn’t able to hit it anymore. That blows, I just finally started getting consistent with it last week and now I’ve lost the timing of it again
@@tdwl2802 my thing is that you take one thing away and thus create another situation. Now he has consisnt DP damage routes in the cornor if you guess wrong lol But thats fighting games for ya there never perfect lol
@@xcreenplay7264 shrimply guess right. also the upside is that getting raw HVV as a combo starter is very rare outside of DP punishes so you only get disintegrated by his new routes some of the time
@@xcreenplay7264Most of his new routes are 20-30 dmg improvements to old, situational, high-damage routes like dp punishes. With dp rc being shot and red wild assault being techable on wall break, its gonna be harder for Sol to reverse situations and vortex so he should be easier to deal with this patch than before.
It definitely seems like the goal of the patch was to remove the powerful defensive option universal to everyone with a DP that was DP RC and to make up for it gave them even better damage and combos with their DPs. Given that most of the characters that HAVE meterless DPs are also highly aggressive, I think taking away the safety that came from doing them with meter on the deck is overall a huge nerf to them with the new combo potential being a comparatively small compensation
