I just found your channel. Watching from Texas. Have been to Staniel Cay twice. Next time we are thinking of going to Georgetown. So, I will be watching all your videos. We absolutely love the Exuma’s. Nice videos!
"Hello Sir, I saw your RU-vid channel. ( Odyssey Picnics ) Your channel has many videos but not enough views and subscribers. Your channel should be optimized, and your videos are very good but your video optimization is very bad Example: SEO score is very low, no perfect title - description - no SEO-friendly tags added, and some in your RU-vid channel Settings are not correct. Because of this, your video is not reaching the people who are interested and you are not getting enough views, likes, and subscriptions Many problems for which your video views and subscribers are not good. As a result, your video views are not affected. You need SEO for your RU-vid channel immediately. As a video SEO expert, I look forward to your response. I can help you grow your RU-vid channel Happy New Year 2024 Thank you."
Fantastic! Bravo! You did the hardest part. Now, if you want to see some serious views, I highly recommend you: 1) Start a new channel that is ONLY for relaxation videos so both people and search algorithms can easily find you when people search for relaxation videos. Channels that try to do more than one thing have no specific target audience and rarely show up in specific searches. Since you are a beach picnic expert, maybe call your channel something like "The Beach Picnic Channel." Or if that's too limiting for you and you want to do more than just picnics, choose something else that is generic. The easier to remember the better. Also, make sure the titles of your individual videos are chosen with intent. 99% of most people likely don't know what Exuma is so they won't be typing Exuma specifically in a search. Instead, people will be typing for things like "world's best beach" or "most relaxing beach" or "sleeping to the sound of waves" etc so you use generic titles like that. I recommend you research which videos have the most views and study which titles have the best pull. Emulate the best! 2) You also should put out a new video every 3 days at most. Yes, it's a side hustle. But, you only have to shoot 10 min and then just loop it. Even if it's the same beach from a different angle for a few episodes in a row, no one will really know or care. You can even use the exact wave track over all of them, no one will know or care. If this bores you, you could also mix it up and try adding a rain track for rainy days at beach relaxation/meditation etc. Try other ideas etc. 3) A few weeks of these videos are not going to pull any views. Pump these out for a year (which goes by faster than you think) and you will finally be making some actual money. And the whole time it will be promoting your picnic business (with all your details in the description) so it's never a waste of time. And once a large number of people do find your channel, all your old videos will be discovered and rewatched (as long as they are all in 4k, which you do)...so they were never a waste of time and more $$$$! You have all the pieces and all the tools. I want to see you succeed and live your dreams. Good luck my friend!
Wow you are amazing! Thank you so much for sharing all of this, it helps us so much. Internet on a small island can be spotty at times so we will release videos as much as realistically possible with the current infrastructure. We don’t get 5G like you guys 🤣👍 But thank you thank you so much this has been great information and insight!! Cheers 🥂
Hello friends, I just discovered your wonderful channel! Thank you so much for this lovely beach walk shot with a quality camera. I hope you do more beach walks, they are all amazing. Oddly, no one has done a Tropic of Cancer beach walk in 4k on RU-vid yet (maybe my favorite larger beach on this island). Maybe you will be the first to grace us with your beautiful footage? :) I really would love to see your channel grow and see you have so much potential. After looking over many of your videos, I have a fantastic suggestion for you that would be so easy for you to implement. Some people on RU-vid make relaxation videos where they shoot a beautifully arranged static shot for 10 minutes and then loop it for an hour or longer with the sound of gentle waves added (For example ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RV9NYpxFUho.html). While they are all nice enough, 99% of them are generally just plain beaches. No one is making these with beautifully arranged tables and chairs like you are having drinks/lunch on the beach under a gorgeous tent. This is so much more magical. I mean seriously, who else has such beautiful picnic scenes you want to just sit and hide away into...especially during Winter up here in the States? You'd have no competition for such scenes. With your outstanding picnics, I'm shocked you aren't already doing this for easy supplementary income! It obviously would require a whole new designated relaxation channel just for this (and only this) so it isn't confusing to subscribers ...but I know it would eventually become very popular. It would also promote your picnic business. It's a no-brainer! Anyway, just something I hope you consider. Sending lots of love and gratitude from NY.
What a magnificent idea!! Tropic of Cancer beach walk is upcoming and love the suggestion on relaxation (expect these soon). Cheers and thanks for commenting.
Is the tap water safe to drink in George Town Exuma? Or should we plan on buying water at the water depot? We are staying in a rental house there soon. Looks like we will be eating pasta, rice, and beans with these prices!
Plan for a stop at the water depot. As for groceries everything is imported so expect to pay about x2 or x3 price wise in some cases but it helps Local Businesses…thanks for visiting!
Incredible how these beautiful islands offer so much tourism but yet the natives are poor. Be a real human and donate to a good cause wherever you vacation. Honor and love the people who live on the land. Don’t be a part of its governance neglect and deliberate injustices.
Rich/Poor is a sad reality of anywhere you visit. But yes there are many organizations you can donate time and items to assist locals + pets on island.
