I just started with Unifi, and noticed that the new interface is completely different than your video (and others that I have found). I have the same issue with my Guest VLAN. I would like my guests to be able to print to my printer on the main VLAN, and use AirPlay. Would you be so kind and update your video. Cheers, Doug
Hi there, good video! Can I ask did you connect the WAN straight into your incoming FTTP ONT? Or did you leave your ISP router intact and just use it in bridge mode? If connected direct to the ONT, was it easy to set up a PPPoE connection for BT business fibre? I am thinking of swapping my BT business hub out at my office (small office just a few of us in here) Thanks!
For this router, I put my modem in bridge mode used it that way. The PPPoE settings are straight forward as long as you have all the details from your business hub.
Can you update this video for the modern UI? I have found all the settings you showed in different places, but it still doesnt work. For anyone else, the access list is under the hotspot portal now
This is not a Unifi hardware problem, UNIFI and other commercial equipment are not as plug and play as what you find at a local box store. USG will take about an hour to setup properly, and unfortunately there are a lot of RU-vid videos out there that don't give you all the details, in fact they seem to leave out key parts, then spew out their IT contact info if you need help. I use UNIFI for my small business clients, and higher end residential customers. There are IT Guys everywhere locally that can set one of these up for you. the cost is anywhere from $80-300 depending on how many VLANS and VLAN passthroughs. Anyhow i hope someone ended up helping you, and that piece of equipment didn't really get tossed out. even if that USG is old school technology.
What bothers me is it doesn't come with a power Breck. IPhone started the malarkey that you have to buy your own power Break. Conservation is a excuse to cheat their customers and hort money at the consumers expense.

la bateria de la mia no me estaria cargando , como hago para ver el estado de la bateria ??? The battery on mine would not be charging, how do I check the status of the battery???
nah they're not. buggy firmwares even on their "flagship" 670 HD. you can find multiple people complaining how newer revisions nerf download speed while the upload speed on these units remains at near gigabit speeds.
These videos, where compare a new iPad or iPhone with the predecessors, are very useless. Most of the people buy not every generation of a device. A video of a comparison between iPad Pro with A12Z or A12X-processor would be worth more than this video here.
Btw, I don't think it does pass through charging! Also the dock doesn't come as standard, you have to buy it on top. How fast can you charge it without the dock....? Just 35w?
