Russell I live in Nutfield. I can remember the swans as well on the Bay pond. I've seen a lot of the swans in the area mainly around the old Fullers Earth mining area where ponds have been created and about five of the ponds have a pair of swans on them. I think there a few people living off the grid in the area. Don't think they are homeless. Maybe into conspiracy theories by the looks of the tin foil. A local Qanon group sort of thing.
