Kneeling during the anthem is a silent & peaceful way (originally suggested by a U.S. military veteran) to protest police misconduct that tarnishes the whole profession. Why any decent person would object to that is beyond me. What would you rather people do to protest police misconduct? SMU ‘13

ok, that makes sense. adding the fact that it is SMU's band in the title though would make it less confusing if you just happen to stumble across the video like I did.
