In the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the 'Front 40' is where you live; the 'Back 40' is where you play. And in 2003 Jimmy Ludwig started Back40 Films, a forward thinking, back-home film company that embraces Craft, Art of all kinds, Theatre, Film, and the stories and risks that Artists take in pursuit of these things. One of Back40's marquee shows is The Happy Hour Guys, a series in which Jimmy and Mark Aldrich travel the world in search of great Craft and memorable places to drink it.
Enjoy Life one breath, and sip, at a time. Cheers!
I met my future wife in Pete's 55 years ago. A very improbable meeting it was. Pete's is truly a magical place. Maybe it's the ghost of O'Henry. Think "The Gift of the Magi". Generous and loving spirits.

Wish Genesee could ship some of its other brands of beer to New England states. I love the regular Genesee and Cream Ale but would love to try like the Bock and Octoberfest
Just a shame we over her in England can only get a very small percentage of Jim Beam product and bourbon in general. Love Jim Beam and I'm trying to get one of each bottle but yeah it sure is difficult over here.
4 years 7 months later & I’ve just barely been recommended this video even though I’ve been a Balcones fanboi for over a year, during which time I have amassed 28 bottles, my absolute favourite distillery in Texas & the world across. Wish I would have known about Balcones back when 17th street was still active and not just a black widows den situated near some drifters.
Proud to be a Kentuckian and from Bardstown...and on a sidenote, sad that we did not have the Derby yesterday...but we are later this year...tradition is partially broken, but you cannot destroy the bourbon or Derby...the Julips shall be made this year, Coronavirus.
I towed farmer John from hemlock hill farms. His hopp feed stuff truck broke down on Rt9 and I had a real hard time getting it into his farm entrance. Long story short one of his pillars was taken down in the process but I went back and put it back
I learned this way of tasting while I was at the Urban Stillhouse in Louisville! During the actual tasting and chewing of the bourbon we were asked to pay attention to the “hug”. How the bourbon warms you up from the inside. Some strengths of bourbon will have stronger “hug” than others. This technique makes bourbon tasting so much fun and really makes you pay attention too. I’m surprised that there was no mention of swirling the bourbon around and leg formations.
