Love your video 🫶🩷. From what I’ve learned, ouidad isn’t really recommended for people with coarse hair as it doesn’t have a strong enough hold. I also recommend only using it as a topper, it will prob have little to no hold if you just use it on its own. I recommend combos of UFD, ICH, and ouidad. Or UFD then ouidad.
@praneeguinyard I definitely see the definition of the curls when you use the custard on damp hair first. The mousse on dry hair is working too but it seems like your curls are popping more immediately when you applied the custard first.

Great video! I have fine to medium high porosity hair, and my hairstylist uses Innersense Organic Beauty Pure Harmony Hairbath in my hair. But I’m wondering if I should use Innersense Organic Beauty Hydrating Cream Hairbath instead even though I really like the Pure Harmony Hairbath.

Did you just wash and condition first or did you use a leave in? Trying to decide if I’m rocking my curls on vacay or a protective style. If I can use a one product I’ll do my have hair. Doux is too hard with the leave in under it. Thanks 😊
Your hair is beautiful ❤ But at what point did you use the UFD & ICH?? The only thing that I could make out that was used was the definition foam.. I'm assuming the UFD& ICH was applied in the shower but the video doesn't make it obvious when they were use 🤔 Great content otherwise😊
You are not tripping! I’ve tried the all soft, all soft mega (this one was rebranded to the curls) and the all soft mega curls formula. The first two formulas melted into the hair and didn’t require as much product. For the mega curls conditioner, it helps to remove excess water, apply product, and then add a little water for more slip/spreadability. Almost any time a salon brand reformulates a line and dedicates it to curly hair overall, it almost always sucks
my twist last a month, not so much cus they unravel but because of under growth, they get kinda squished from the durag i wear to bed and the fact that i need to wash my hair. For scalp if you oil your scalp on your wash day or d day after, your scalp should be fine, n obviously oil ur scalp through out d time u have twists in. (Tip: the first time i oil my scalp after washing it, i use a oil with a thick consistency -i use cantu's tea tree & jojoba oil- as this oil will normally last 1.5-2 weeks. After this time ill then use a more runny oil 2-3 a week)
Yesss! I used this combo too. Then I used UFD, I create hold, and Trepadora’s ginseng and bamboo. The hold and scent was amazing!!! A lil goes a long way!
Do you think the UFD may have altered your results? I haven't seen many use it in the way you used it. Most I've seen used it with it's own product line. I feel like UFD softens up topper gels. Maybe try it alone.
Yes I def think the UFD altered the results. I’ve seen a lot of people use the Ouidad as a topper gel but I didn’t choose the best combo lol I’m gonna try it again on its own!
Your results were way better than my first time using this gel. Mine was frizzy + flakes. It took me way long to figure out how to use it but I was determined because I paid too damn much for 8.5oz of failure. Lol. I've come to the conclusion this gel loves LOTS of water and works best as a base gel, for me! Still isn't my fave but I hate wasting my coins so I'm using it up no matter what.
