Welcome to my motorcycle vlogging channel! This is where I'll be posting fun clips from my daily riding, various learnings and possibly a review here or there. Please subscribe if you like the content! I'll be bringing out new videos every week. Thanks for dropping by and stay safe out there!
This is by far the best video that explains simple techniques of cornering which resembles to MSF course technique of Look- Press- Roll but in simpler way.
That is one of the best videos (probably the best) I have ever seen in cornering and I can ride a bike! Magnificent, thanks for sharing your knowledge sir. You have a new subscriber!
Thank you so much. I'm a new rider and had my bike/licence for 5 weeks. After watching that video i went for quick 30 mins ride and after applying your recommendations i was riding like a completly different person. Head positioning changes everything. thanks again !!!
Thank you very much. I'm still very unconfident when it comes to cornering and I keep fearing that I might end up in the wrong lane if i go too quickly (which should be the correct speed) so i slow down way too much. I'll practice some more tomorrow with these new tips. Thank you again
Oh Yes! But relating it to road riding (I was never up there on the track); Chilling out and concentrating the First Imperative: bin the negatives of what you might just have been through. Leave any argument behind you... Second, Oh Shit! Why did I just hit that house brick in the middle of the road..? Cos you were looking at it, you Dork!
Thank you so much. I really love riding but thought it wasn't meant for me because I felt like this. I'm 100% going to buy another bike and try again. ❤
OMG! Thank you! Everyone tells me I should be leaning over and I’ve never found that comfortable. I mean with the bike but always felt I had better control jutting my head out. Finally some validation.
After years of riding I had a real bad high side on some shingle on the hills with a death drop lucky I saved it by a miracle but I could not corner properly after that, problem was fear itself so I had to re learn everything in theory and trust in it and remember must 100% commit or die. It worked. Hesitation will kill you.
Thanks so much. At the weekend I was terrified on a tight bend where I ran wide, crossing the white line, thankfully no one was coming the other way. I wish I'd seen your video before I took that ride. I'm very new to riding, recently got my CBT.
Thanks for this excellent advice and comprehensible explanation! Returning rider after 12 years absence and this gives me the tools most necessary for me personally to focus on practicing now. Thanks again!
Tried the head out and pointed to where you want to go this morning. It works so crazily well, but I'm an overthinker, I don't understand WHY it works. Please help
It operates on a couple of levels. First and foremost when you put your head out you naturally push on the inside handle bar as well as pull on the outside. This is countersteering and fundamentally the thing that turns a bike. Secondly it positions the center of gravity slightly to the inside of the bike (your head weighs a lot) and this also makes it slightly easier to turn. Lastly and super importantly it positions your eyes where you want to go rather than at the things you want to avoid and this is an excellent technique to combat target fixation which is the reason a lot of riders run wide in a corner.
@SimonTheSquid Yes, I catch what you're saying and thank you again. I also notice that ,and this might be wishful thinking, that the bike stays more upright while in the curve. Whatever, it works.,!!
